I just let my imagination fill the blanks for single player. You have to remember though, Demigod is primarily a multiplayer game. It is basically considered the Counterstrike of strategy games. You don't play Counterstrike for singleplayer do you? No I didn't think so. Try some multiplayer battles, or make some friends on here and play with them. ThundrGod - Demigod is working for the most part. Most of the connection problems have been fixed. The only majors issues left are allowing different countries to connect to eachother, fixing the stats system, and speeding up the netcode. I bought the game last Friday and I've had no problems getting in and out of games. I'm having the same problem too, but I don't see the point in bitching. I understand there are a lot of more important problems right now, and I understand both Stardock and GPG are working very hard to resolve everything. Everything will be fine given time. I'm not worried about it.

Teseer- Thank you. :) Like I said, I haven't really come across QoT being OP. She's very hard to kill, but she doesn't kill me often if ever. Guildford- In every match I've played either against Rook, or as him... He just seems to die very easily mainly because of his size I think. He's very easy to hit. I actually kinda agree with you. Less Demigods bounties would be nice. It would make the early game not so important and game changing. It does kinda suck when you're paired with a shitty player and the other team are vets and they bully the noob.. gaining vast experience and gold, and leaving you pretty much fucked the entire game. Bought the game last Friday. And after reading the comments in the forums since the launch of the game, I came in expecting some problems. Oddly enough, the problems that have severely affected some people have not happened to me. I can get in and out of a game easily enough, and have no problems logging into the Pantheon. I haven't had any multiplayer problems and I have a shitty internet connection (verizon DSL 90KB/s), so I was a bit surprised to see that everything works fine. lol. <

I just got done playing a Pantheon game as Rook. Admittedly, I got my ass kicked. He just can't stand a chance against TB. Just can't. As I learned from my horrible experience as Rook in pantheon.. DO NOT venture too far away from the base. You will get creamed, especially in the early game. Rook is best for crushing creeps near the base and keeping the flow of your creeps moving forward. I agree. Most of the Demigod players are becoming exactly what they hated the DotA community for. Me personally, I'm not having problems connecting or anything. The game is fine for the most part except for a few balance tweaks here and there, and speedier multiplayer access. Other than that, I'm fine with the game.

Totally different game and genre abr4. But anyways, I think Demigods 8 characters are perfectly fine. I'd rather have less characters and more balance than more characters and rediculously unbalanced and cheap gameplay like DotA. Demigods really tight and obviously balanced, with maybe a few changes needed here and there as far as skills goes. But no Demigod is vastly overpowered, as there is a counter for each one so far as I can tell.

Did Demigod not update? Says it is still version 1.00 on impulse. in Demigod Demigod Forums

The updater automatically ran as soon as I installed the game, so it downloaded something, however the game still states it is version 1.00. Something wrong, or is it normal? The bottom corner of the screen in Demigod does not state a version number. No, I do not have a pirated copy, it is registered through Impulse.

Heh heh. I did some work around the neighborhood, painting houses for the extra cash. I finally own Demigod now. lol. I must say it's pretty awesome. Very easy to pick up, but a bitch to master with all the various builds and strats as well team play elements. I was not let down in purchasing Demigod, and am very happy with it. Exactly Arnie, that's what I would 100 percent prefer to do, the wait is just killing me that's all. Being in college, there's no telling when I'll get some spending money since all my money goes to paying off the college loans, heh heh.
