I deny being wrong.
Polynomial
Next week for sure.
Poly's probably been in IRC chat all day, so I'm guessing he got confirmation from someone that it's not coming out. No idea why though. Hoping they actually aren't delaying just because of the random dg stuff, but, as always, its their call.
Bingo! IRC 4 life.
sooooo it's Thursday. Does this need to be updated to 'No demigod update this week (either)'? :stands by for community thrash:
They're saying next week for sure.
I can answer that for you. It was a matter of copy + paste with some number changes and maybe a new icon =P
So you're suggesting we remove favor items period.
I agree with go host your own game if you don't like it. But people are not noobs for using favor items.
Then they can leave the game and host their own. But taking out a part of the game and calling people noobs for not having it... right.
Exploiting an item? Right. Okay. Moving on.
Unfortunately, never going to happen.
Yeah, this is one time I'm not being sarcastic when I refer to Demigod and "for sure" in the same sentence. IRC is a good place to ask people like Yarlen or kryo. They're usually friendly... usually.
I'm told next week for sure.
If GPG actually sticks to the whole Gamers Bill of Rights concept they've agreed to, they cannot require Steam. But then again, it might be up to the publisher and not GPG.
I see Frogboy more as a Spock and Chris Taylor more like Kirk.
http://forums.demigodthegame.com/332268 I somehow found myself browsing old Demigod Journal updates and found this. Now, Mike Marr says new maps, new items and new demigods over the next year or so with the agreement with Stardock allowing DLC. New demigods is about to be check. New maps and items are yet to be seen. Time to wait and see. You said new maps GPG! I'm calling you out! =P
Originally I was thinking about a Demigod game, but a classic original Star Trek style fight with over the top music would work too.
Forget all those balancing and mod ideas- Who else wants to see GPG and Stardock go at each other's throats for our entertainment? It would be fun! Chris Taylor vs. Brad Wardell in my opinion.
Patch Thursday? >.>
Rock solid. I think you completely understand the direction Impulse needs to go in.
Unfortunately I can't give you replays at this moment, as I'm not in a position to play with the normal Regulus/Torchbearer players I usually do.
Zehdon, Dark Crimson Vial's casting time is going to 1 second in the new patch. You don't need to nerf it further =P
I'm glad Gamereplays.org has provided a place for organized Demigod replays. And there's a ton of great ones. This has really worked community. However, since 1.2 is probably coming out this week this will invalidate all replays on the site and make them unviewable. Unless Demigod has the magical ability to view old replays nearly every RTS does not. So if there are any replays you've wanted to see, better get to it!
These are actually good ideas. The goal should be to come up with modifications compelling enough for GPG to adapt. Here's an example from me.
Diamond Pendant +250 Mana -10% cooldown
Idea:
New Diamond Pendant -250 Mana Reset all cooldowns. 45 second cooldown.
Going all the way with cooldown reduction, but it causes you to have a reduced mana cap.
Frogboy told GPG about it. Its not going in this update.
I want more maps.
Please. I'll buy them. Tell GPG. We're up to 10 demigods. Lets do 10 maps.
