I still think its silly we're going to have to wait more weeks for the official DLC Demigods while the stupid AI plays as them. Its asinine. This is one thing Stardock kinda is screwing up unless the new guys are released alongside 1.2
Polynomial
Frogboy sent them to me personally on floppy disk through UPS.
I still have the new Demigods, like the last person who made a similiar thread. I already have the imbalanced builds complete. Occulus is fun.
In your opinion. HP is part of the game. You cannot nerf HP. See Obscenitor. Melee is not superior. Regulus and TB will do the most damage per game. If you want to do something interesting, just remove capture locks. Teleportation scrolls are part of the game and necessary for the larger maps. Item tweaking is where your focus should be. Not nerfing items, but buffing sucky items. I could go on and on about item buffing.
What I'm saying is what is so wrong with the current balance that you feel the need to make a big "balance" mod?
Demigod does not need a major balance overhaul. It could use some tweaks.
That sounds nicer =D Thanks for the insight, as I'm sure we actually do all appreciate it. Also, is there any compatibility between Supreme Commander maps and Demigod maps?
looks nice but I would prefer a more "compact" map !
Maybe you should ask him to take you through the steps since your feedback will be ignored and you have no skill in anything and understand nothing about this process and show him how much he sucks.
I'm one of those people who's guilty of lurking, actually. I run DG in windowed mode and when I'm not playing I often just click on a browser or whatever and DG sits behind my other applications idling.
Long wait times for games contribute to a lot of people doing this.
Its really nice, but you really need to lighten up and stop sounding like a jerk all the time. You constantly insult people, and generally have an elitist attitude. I would recommend adding two more diagonal paths in the middle, otherwise you're risking map imbalance. Also, there is no mod SDK. That is unless GPG suprises us with the map editor from Beta 1 =P
Sorry, but this is a bad idea. Lets buff minion damage. Lets increase the amount of minions you can have. Lets make sure assasins always die against minions. Lets make generals be in 45 places at once and be able to capture flags.
Again. Why must fights be longer?
Can we just go ahead and get refunds on this game? THIS is the list of updates in the patch? This is complete garbage. Still no additional characters in site. GPG is garbage and has ruined my taste for Stardock.
Read: PARTIAL
I think you're right obscenitor. I never saw Blood of the Fallen as the go to favor item in all matchups on all maps.. You make some valid points And yes, CelMare, unless Frogboy comes out and proves me otherwise, given how much emphasis is put on UI modification being expensive I truly believe that.
Obscenitor, on the contrary I completely agree with you. What I've been saying is if these are going in that's fine, I would prefer a better variety, but these items change very little and are being overexagerrated. I am the one that started the original thread on these being a bad idea =P
Why do fights need to be long? Cooldown times and mana regen rates don't correspond well with longer fights.
Okay, so let me point something out everyone is missing. How long are Demigod encounters now? What is so wrong with the current HP levels? You're trying to reduce the effectiveness of HP stacking without changing the damage numbers. You're talking about a complete retrofit of the entire game, not just reducing HP. Lets reduce the amount of HP everyone has, and then reduce the percentage priests heal. There are consequences for everything you change. You cannot "balance" HP stacking just by re
edit: @polynomial you can keep telling this over and over again and we still won't agree with you. it makes the current situation even worse thus we don't want this items.
Elaborate on the current situation that would be made worse. And I've said the only forseeable problem is the fact the item is assassin only, so I agree with CosMoe. And again, I'm sure that is because they ran out of UI room on the generic fav
i am really scared off this proposed IMbalance-mod.
Didn't I predict this utter chaos in another thread? =)
2 points I want to make. The first one about the new favor items: I'd rather have no patch at all than a patch with those overpowered things. please, please, please. leave them out. I dont want to offend you but this will really harm the game. secondly: the idea of letting queen heal towers. That isnt a useful ability in my opinion. What queen needs is not some ability that helps her towers but an ability that helps her. Wit

Oculus Frogboy. Occuuuuuuuulus =( He's way cooler than some silly demon dude. And the units didn not seem to move slower.
