lol i just got home and still the same problem [e digicons]v_v[/e] For me its a big deal! i need to know or find why DX12 build got like that? does it have to do with the latest Nvidia drivers with my GTX770? or just the latest AOTS patch? o maybe when Win10 Updated to Build 10565? hmm i guess have to wait and keep looking into it.

Everything, my DX12 Build got completely broken when they released a 38MB patch, i was playing with no problem having around 30 FPS with everything maxed, after that small patch my DX12 version when to 3-5 FPS with everything maxed for no reason and i went and put everything at low quality and went up to 15 FPS lol. Something happened. my DX11 is fine tho. I haven't tested yest the latest build that they put on steam, not sure if its the same, i will try it later ton
yes! like the bot will take over and when you connect back to the game you can still play.
Of course we will. Cheers and congrats.
Yep, they will have all that plus more.
Not for now and maybe never lol, This a Ground RTS game.
Are you on DX12 Version? if yes we may have the same problem.
I do like the game so far so yes you will get my [e digicons][/e] Still right now my DX12 build is Broken running at 5 FPS.. [e digicons]:([/e]
Deleted settings.ini and did not fix the problem, did a check on game integrity and everything is fine... [e digicons]:')[/e] I am gonna delete the game and re download it now. so weird.
well before this 38 MB patch it was working really nice, after that patch the DX12 build just went really bad, like i said before it went from 30 FPS to 3 FPS DX12 is Unplayable for me now, even lowering everything in video setting i get around 15 FPS with no units at all in the map, and with 50 + units the FPT go all the way to 5 or even less. While the DX11 build still works fine for me. I mean it cannot be my PC because i did nothing to it, it should
I woke up today and i had a 38 MB Update/Patch for AOTS. I started the game after the patch/update like always with the DX12 build and, this build is completely broken, the DX12 Build went from 30 FPS to 5 FPS, RAM went up the roof from 2GB to more than 6GB and all the PC lagged like crazy, maybe a Memory Problem? While the DX11 Build stayed the same, its fine. Here are the pics. DX12 Build
I did Found a new Bug in DX11 Build in Scorpio map with Quanta points. It let me use Quanta points without Having Quanta how? still don't know, I have in this map 8 Quantum Relay buildings. Before I started to research and upgrade, I had a total of around 486 Quanta Points, then i started researching and it did let me go all the way to (-1400) Quanta points Here is a pic: </
Wow HateDread you Nailed it, really nice Post! [e digicons][/e] Cheers! [e digicons][/e] [e digicons]\o/[/e]
This makes me think how nice it would be to see terrain-specific FX one day (not enough room in performance right now, I imagine) such as snow. Knocking over trees and/or explosions leaving craters would be cool too, speaking of terrain.
That will be really awesome.
Nice Mellified_Man Great job everyone, hope we can get some real MP games with the new Steam players.
lol true how did you get it? or you did not yet, you cannot get the lifetime founders in steam. But you still have i think 2-3 more days to get it through Stardock Store, so go for it.
Your right Frogboy , if we are talking about Lighting then yes It looks really nice on the Units. I mean the Shadows are top notch Good job! I really want to create a new Post to talk about the terrain engine, but I will wait for you the Dev's to create that post with some nice examples of how we like it so far by giving our Opinions and Ideas. Ok this is really weird My benchmarks Changed Completely here This is Full System test
Like i said before, every part inside a PC is connected and have a lot to do with Performance, less Ram in a PC then the GPU need to work harder i guess. Not sure i will test that later.
the benchmark is giving misleading results
I don't think so I have a GTX770 4GB, I think you you have the 2GB version, second you only have 8 GB Ram that's the minimum requirement for the game. Doing a clean Win10 install just make you spend around 2 hours of your time and no money. You know something, I am gonna make you a favor and take out 16GB Ram from my PC and do another Benchmark with
i think it has to do with the cpu then.
I think its a Win10 problem or need more Ram Your CPU is old but Its good, and you have my same GPU.
My FX-8350 (2012) is slightly better than your i5-2500k (2011) 1 year difference The Core i5-2500K also lacks Intel's Hyper-Threading technology, which means its four cores generate a maximum of four processing threads, so that may be a problem in DX12, mine have 8 core and i think that helps but still it cannot be that much of a difference between yours. Still I recommend doing a clean Win10 install, with latest Nvi
This astounds me. Could it be CPU makes that much difference? What CPU do you have? Are you certain you are running the same graphics settings and resolution? I paid extra attention to make sure I was.
I have my Benchmarks in that link using 0.55 build https://forums.ashesofthesingularity.com/472235/page/1/#3594691
eviator I am sure there is something wrong with your pc, i am getting a big jump in FPS in my pc, and i think we have the same graphic card.
I'm sure this is all well and good, but it's not something that I care about. What I care about is, does the benchmark run better under DX12 than DX11? Prior to the latest driver release, the answer for my GTX 770 was No! By 10-20%. But I re-ran the benchmarks with the latest driver: Light-Medium-Heavy-Average... DX11: 47.1 - 41.5 - 37.1 - 41.5 DX12: 45.6 - 42.5 - 37.1 - 41.4 The r
