Awesome to have that change. I will go with Frigates (T1), Cruisers (T2), Battleships (T3). I feel that Titans are really big ships and are some kind of epic units. so Titans (T4)? and yes it will be nice to have Juggernauts (T5) in maybe 2020? when the game get very optimized with maps getting even bigger and war gets crazier?
why not but i tell you this is quickly going to get convoluted. I can see the UI not being able to figure out where it places all of these on the screen when you have too many in the view.
Well not really, let me explain why. The first option is a to move the mouse over a unit or group for you to get the info, ( it means that you cannot have more than one popup info at a time, lol

Hello I did something really fast here with the units info, how it work is really easy and fast, without the need to be clicking anywhere. So how it work is you just move the mouse over any unit or group or alt group or meta unit and then the info of that specific unit that you choose will pop up giving all the info of it. you can click on this group to keep showing the
I really like the look of the second idea by ASADDF. However, the numbers are too tiny for me to be able to read, which is not ok b/c I need to be able to *quickly* determine my group compositions, I shouldn't have to squint. This being said, I love the overall idea.
Thank you <a id="ctl00_ctl00__Content__Content__RepeaterReplies_ctl12__LinkUser" class="hand" title="Click user name to view more opt

Playing with DX12 and my game does not crash at all, i am just having some freezes when I move the map from one side to another, thats when my gave freezes for like 1 second, it should be something with how the game its handling the memory. I have a FX8350, GTX770 4GB, 16GB DDR3. The AI is much better, still they don't use Air Units I love how when you choose a bunch of T1, T2, T3 units and group them all together, ti will reorg

In a Different post I spoke about when you zoom really out you units color glow, so you know where they are but, it does not say anything about what kind of units you have, I did that because I do not want any icons on the screen. so how do you find out what units do you have? Easy you just click of them and you see that: First Concept <img src="http://i.imgur.com/E
And again over and over, they created the expectation when they copied Sup Com maps. They didn't have to do that. Maybe it's paying homage....or being lazy. Whatever.
I don't think its an easy job to remake maps from any game whatsoever, those maps still have a lot of bugs that need more time and dedication to optimize and some of the maps we the community asked for them. And who said that re
You come into my thread, you quote a post and you say "Thank you". Why thank you? Thank you for what? At least explain yourself. Why is this such a wonderful approach to not be able to see the units you're trying to attack in detail? Why should I not be allowed to zoom in on what ever point of the map I want without skipping around a mini-map?
I was Quoting Frogboy not you
Zooming out to a map full of icons where people play the game as icons is not a viable commercial game strategy. So now, we won't be doing that. However, in next week's update, we will have the first pass at the situational map where the player hits the space bar and it brings up a map of the world with what is happening on it. It will evolve over the next few months. See the Sins of a Solar Empire str

1-What do you like to see in a RTS game to make you buy it? An awesome Single player Story, games like C&C and TA but in a bigger scale . 2-Whats your style? Annihilation Baby! 3-What kind eco you want in a rts? I don't like games that you rush and win, my opinion is that you need to build your base first with little expansion till you have enough to throw everything out there. 4-What uni

I will go for both if its possible. Well known maps may be more optimized with less bugs but you get tired of them, while a map Generator may create really awesome and different maps each time but how optimized and bug free is? a Good player for me will play any map given without a problem. Completely unexplored. Anyway having connected regions in game (yellow lines) you cannot get lost, just follow those lines and it will take you to the next region to conquer. <

Hmmm the Truth is that i won't work at all, and in a way it will be stupid if all units give a different kind of buff, Why? its because not fun at all I do think that only Advanced and Specialized units should give some kind of buffs while T1 and T2 should not in any way, and while playing AOTS the units need to be and feel unique, all of them have distinct purposes, i think this is really important. There is one more thing i want to ad

Having different opinions or ideas about something is fine, you just need to leave it as an opinion/idea and move forward, let the Dev's read about it and decide what to do with it. You should not in anyway decide for them or tell them what to do. If a Company have an idea for a game or whatever that they want to make, then they should just do it without any outside intervention. you will never make everyone happy at the same time, that's why you have so many options out th

Interesting Lore, i like it so far, how will the story mode will be? i guess its all based on Turinium, The story may start When the Humans start evolving to post-humans, after evolving using Turinium generators they want more and more, but Turinium in Earth is so limited that they cannot have enough, So they start expanding to outer space using bots, searching for planets that can Generate Turinium, for each Post-Human, but there's millions of Post-Humans out there looking for th
