I belive that you will recive the CD in a DVD-box. /Andreas

Im not sure, all I know is that normal is too easy for me LOL /Andreas
I always play on "normal" settings when I play a game for the first time, I would think that "normal" is a good place to start in GalCiv.
Well those of us who have titles above citizen will only answer to posts we KNOW the answer to. So if you get a reply from me or someone else, you can surely take that answer as a fact! ;) IOf we done know, we usually wait until someone over at stardock can reply. So dont worry, you are all in good hands! LOL /Andreas PS. Those that are part of the GalCiv team is: BoogieBac, Cari-Elf, Frogboy, T-Man, Nakor. Hmm, I have a nagging thought in the back of my head th
glMatrixMode: When you enter the races customizations screen the game has saved you stats from the last time you played that "party". So if you in your first game played "Federalist" and then played "Technologists", the game will save the settings you chose for both, so if you want to play the Feds again, just select that party and the settings you used last time you played that party have been saved! Very nice indeed... :) /Andreas
I helped Cari-Elf with a small problem with the mp3 player in the game, she then sent me a "test-exe" to try and it was for windowed mode. I launched the game and was greatly surprised, I never imagined that a game would run so smoothly in windowed-mode. So now I have problems deciding wich I like to play. LOL
And yes, the play has immense re-playability!
Indeed. The AI is superb.. If you try the game you will see that its not easy to try and pull things on the computer, build a starbase in the "wrong" location and the ai-race will prompt you about it. Try to build up forces around his solarsystem and the computer-ai will see that and reinforce its defences, and many more things... Its a quite good AI;) /Andreas
My serial is in the DVD case I got the game in... Im not sure how you got the game though, its not released yet!
Yes, search through JavaScouts website (its a website for technologies), and you will find it. Its udner social projects I think.. /Andreas
Amazon.com is for amercians only I think, the negotiating deals with sales outside US isnt done yet so those of us who live outside have to wait awhile, you can always preorder from this site and for $10 extra you can have the game shipped to you. If you only want to download and not the CD then you just pay the $44.95, but that you knew ;) Well, they WILL distribute it outside US and it will be localized versions I belive, its just not yet decided when! Hope it helped /
If you look under encyclopedia (top of screen on GalCiv website) you might find the information you are seeking! If you dont, I cant help you with this one ;) /Andreas
Well the price for shipping is $5 in US, $10 outside US. If you just want to download then you just have to pay the price that is shown.. ($44.95) There is no discount if you do not want the manual, it comes with the shipping anyway:)
Odegard: I asked Frogboy that when the poll first showed up, he said that he could only add a maximum of 6 diffrent choices unfortunatly.
Hey Rusty, you forgot Sweden there! >:( ;)
Hehe, that was cool, a bit big for the guys not on broadband though. Just an offical warning, its just over 16mb to download!
MGagne: See, told you ;) Dont worry!
If its not the final version, then alot of the bug have been adressed..
But the game recives constant updates, they will need to put out a new pirated version every time there is an update.. Patches works the same way as the BonusPak, so it will be quite inconveniant..
The BonusPak installs directly into the game, no download file.. so its kinda hard to pirate :)
I actually like Brads attitude about priacy :)
As I said, I think 600 is the minimum for the larger maps.. like gigantic with over 2000 planets (or so ive heard). Read the post on galaxy size ;) As I said, you should be able to play the smaller ones..
No no... Governors just acts as an advanced "build-list", add the desired projects to his list, when you are at the planet manu you can select wich governor you want.. you can have the same for many diffrent planets. ;) /Andreas
Minimun is PIII 600, but you should be able to run the smaller galaxies I think, but I recommend that you upgrade.. (My personal opinion) ;) /Andreas
And is it the Final release or an earlier?
