Still slowly picking my way through with the BT-2 now ... I'm thinking I'll take a couple weeks so that I have the extra cash to purchase a 75% trained crew when I get the BT-7.

What I would love to see but highly doubt it would happen, would be differing levels based on the research tree plus stock armaments, of anti-strikecraft/anti-bomber weapons. Most modern ships have them in some form or fashion. Even if it's just one fairly weak weapon it would be a huge improvement in my mind.

I have had bad experiences with Game Stop both digitally in the past and still to this day whenever I am in their stores. By and large the people I deal with are very friendly and are generally professional it is their technical support that is frustrating. I chose Impulse for my gaming, specificaly Sins because it was completely seperate from the 'me-too!' market and it was doing well. This new development is very saddening. Impulse and Stardock are very true t

As far as the pirate functions in Sins are concerned, have you thought about setting up different fleet sets for the 'level' of the pirates so that at different levels either the Shadows or the Vorlon are the pirate raiders? (obviously in fairly small setups of x number of ships.) If this is not an option perhaps there are a few other alternatives from different races. What is the ultimate plan for the pirates?

Another idea which has not largely been expanding upon by the development team is the 'rebellion' etc ship varients that will be coming. Perhaps instead of just another Light Frigate it's variant perhaps is classified as a HF or LC because of heavier armor, more health, etc ... Just some thoughts as we do not know exactly for sure yet. It might already be something that is being worked into the game, albeit under a different guise.

Megalith as a class name I really really like. The big question however is whether or not it fits with the Vasarri class name schemes? At first Monoliths almost sounded like an Advent class name since they are focused more on culture etc ... ... ... How about: Obelisk <span style="background-co

I also have a windows 7 machine and just over a year ago I had installed Sins and then the two expansions without any problems what-so-ever. As Ryat has said [email protected] will be able to help you out if you describe your problem. Screen-shots and a good description would likely get it resolved fairly quickly I'm sure. Be aware that there is usually a day turn around for responses to service tickets (last time I checked a few mont

... it's a STAND ALONE ... in a very real sense it's not an expansion at all but simply a Sequel (Sins 1.5) using an improved but not new engine. I think for that $30 is a decent price with newer games ranging for $60+ off the store shelves these days.

Otherwise, if my understanding is correct, you can purchase Trinity from the store (or from Impulse) and get a free upgrade using the Impulse client. OR, using the Impulse client you can purchase the Entrenchment & Diplomacy addon's and then update via the Impulse client. The update to v1.2 is free, all updates are. The upgrades (either through micro-expansions or purchasing a new box set) however cost money. Rebelio

Sorry bud it's not really possible. There are other threads that discuss different topics like this however. Use the search function and quite a few actually come up. Also, for longer games turn your graphics down (I know, not that great of a solution from an eye-candy standpoint) and you will get a lot more travel out of your games.

As trekky_rudd stated I am fine with Crystal. It is something that is recognizable as one of the larger portions of the story both for data storage as well as the Minbari civilization as a whole. It can be argued that the Shadows / Vorlon have 'mutated' versions of crystal resources for their civilizations. Minbari seem to be crystal heavy while the humans and other 'lesser' races tend to be more metal based. The Ancients / Vorlon tend to be a mix of cry

Greg are you playing on a speed faster than 1x normal? My crew and I play on 10-15 stars with 15+ planets each without any lag what so ever until about 12-13 hours into the game. We have a crew of 3-4 playing against the remainder of Hard AI. For really long games with DS we'll play two 12-15 hour sessions over a weekend (same game file) on low graphics on slow settings and we won't get lag until about 8-10 hours into the second day ...

It all depends on your level of zoom. Looks fine to me bud. Have you thought about making a Toxic Garden world/ Toxic Paradise World? I.E. a beautiful planet but you can't eat anything there because it will kill you. :-P

For those that are concerned but looking for something that will increadibly change, update, and improve (significantly) your old Medieval 2 experience, download the Kingdom's Grand Campaign Mod and then over top of that mod place Heroes, Hoardes and Beyond. It enhances the game a over a million percent. <img src="http://web.stardock.ne
