The idea with Oculus is to have a general that has some ranged weaponry
In case anybody forgot it: QoT is already a ranged general DG. ;) Anyways, sounds very nice. So the Ball Lightnings are his special minions?
Well I must run into a lot of pro QoT, they seem to be able to stand their own, shield up, spike aoe to kill my armour then spike wave to slow me, then auto me down.
I would never consider a QoT who plays like that a "pro", because with this build (Ground Spikes early and Spike Wave) you're feeding the enemy team if it's coordinated . Playing in open mode = death on stun.</p
Looks awesome, nice ideas overall. :)
This bug is already known. Will be fixed in upcoming patch. http://forums.demigodthegame.com/340631 http://forums.demigodthegame.com/357156
The Oak has a special ability " Pentinence " that can temporarily increase the (special) attack damage that your team deals to the affected enemy Demigod.
One week before the patch. I hope they also balance in 1.2, because if not they effectively lost one Demigod while introducing another. Only newbies will try her out a few times, only to see playing QoT is not only uneffective and bad for your team but also no fun to play (I tried Stun/Slam Rook recently and it's a lot more fun). My suggestions: Change Tribute to be a Shambler-specific special skill: the number of active
Dear Stardock/GPG, if you know beforehand that you're migrating some servers to a new data center, it would be very kind to let the Demigod users also know beforehand <span style="font-size:
Totally unrelated question, would a sarcastic reply to a legit issue be considered trolling, or just bad manners?
What sarcastic reply? [e digicons]o_O[/e] I also think that Erebus' Minions are the weakest of them all: That's because they cost more mana than Shamblers or Yetis... hm no. But it's because you can have fewer Nightwalkers than Shamblers or Yet... hmm no. It' definitely because the
Still problems here (EU). Multiplayer lobby lags like hell and I can't join games. Chat lags too.
There's a (new in 1.1?) bug with the +Minion Health items. Link .
Any mediocre Minion Erebus will eat your Shamblers for breakfast as their 625 health is quickly gone and there is a bug with +Minion Health items for all Generals except Erebus. I tried a special anti Minion Erebus Build* in a 1vs1 on Crucible (worst map for Minion Erebus imho) only to see how it's pointless after all. Game went for 1:08 hours and I dealt 1 850 000 damage, as opposed to Erebus who dealt "only" 450 000 damag
When buying +Minion Health Items (Hauberk of Life, etc.) and using any General but Erebus , your minions have their original health when summoned and not the boosted health. Erebus has this problem only without skilling Improved Conversion Aura. After he skills this he has full boosted health minions when summoned. Other skills like Entourage or higher Raise Dead Ward or higher Summoning Yetis or Shamblers do not help! Quite a di
My questions: Does Frogboy or any other Stardock employee still play Demigod, and if yes: What's your favourite DG? How does Stardock/GPG handle balancing? Do you watch for player suggestions (subjective but insightful) or do you watch the stats (objective but maybe misleading)? Are there already new maps in developement? Sorry if we sound like we can't get enough. ;) What do you think
As for shamblers I dunno, I'd have to see them actually work first.
You've never seen Shamblers in action? Now why might that be? ;)
Then I wholeheartedly support a major minion nerf.
I too think that idols should cost a bit more mana and should perhaps have a 60 second cooldown. Maybe Nightwalkers (and Spirits) should have a bit less health because they're numerous and practically for free. But do you really think Yetis and Shamblers should be nerfed too? Before you say yes, try playing builds that use them.
Perhaps this thread might help.
Confirmed. Hope they can fix it soon.
I may be wrong here, but it seems that Stardock/Frogboy were behind the minimalist documentation of the game's internal mechanics: https://forums.galciv2.com/107492 "For instance, I traditionally come from the camp who play games intuitively. I don't like having every number spelled out. I was, for instance, against letting users see the tech tree. Not even in a manual."
CelMare In ladder games the top teams only choose half of all Demigods, coincidentally the ones with more wins than losses. You do not see a serious problem here? Please, I really want to hear your explanation for that fact .
CelMare, the game balance is okay now, but far from the state that a competitive multiplayer game should be (see Warcraft 3). If you think it's extremely well balanced please explain: There are no QoTs or Rooks or TBs or Regulus in 2vs2 or 3vs3 ESL ladder games. Win/loss ratios of Demigods are quite diverse: On average Sedna & Erebus win 2 of 3 matches, whereas TB and QoT lose 2 of 3 matches. Only 5% of all chosen Demigods are Q
I observed the game stats for a while now and saw that the win/loss ratio of the "weak" ( constantly dropping even further. This means that the more experienced the players get, the more pronounced the difference between "weak" Demigods and "strong" Demigods gets. Soon Erebus or Sedna will, on average, win 2 of 3 matches and QoT or TB will lose 2 of 3 matches.
I do not think that she is underpowered
...
I'm still trying to figure out if Uproot is worthwhile.
[e digicons][/e] the_hunger, play her a bit more and also against experienced teams and you'll soon see that: Tribute is pointless Goddess of Thorns is pointless Uproot is pointless Violent Siege</str
ShakeNBake you're right, but I made a mistake in my OP: QoT has the strange numbers, not TB: Wins: 11.010 Losses: 11.570 Total Games: 27.046 How can that be?
Can anybody from Stardock please explain what's up with the stats and why they do not add up? Wins+Lo sses should equal Total Games , or not? I was thinking it might be due to NA data from aborted games but the QoT stats show that she had less Wins+L osses than Total G
As always, your map ideas are astonishing. :) There's already a water-based map (Leviathan) with small waterfalls, but such an effect like in the picture would be awesome (if you have a good enough GPU).
