The reason why Favor Points are not a good measure of skill level.
CosMoe
This is the newest statistic of average Favor Points per Demigod per game (Custom Games only). It has been now been adjusted to no t include the Favor Points for Wins and Losses according to each Demigod . Interestingly, Regulus (although rather low on the Win/Loss ratio) gets, on average, more Favor Po
the easier the Demigod, the more players will play them, the higher their ratio
Regulus is played 1.5 times more often than Lord Erebus or Sedna, so you're plain wrong here. As I said, the sheer number of games in this statistic averages out different skill levels. A good QoT is very micro intensive, nevertheless any mediocre Erebus player can easily defeat her (and most other Demigods). You also won't se
Firstly, nice suggestion. I only think it's hard to implement and prone to "cheating". There's always a way to "game the system", as you can see with the current disconnect/desync exploit. Secondly: To me, the easiest option to keep premades and PuGs apart would be a simple " shuffle players " option which can be checked when hosting a game. All players will be assigned to a rand
Desync exploiters are RUINING the game for everybody else now. It's use is increasing every day. These guys need a temporary BAN , else the game is going down the drain because of a very small group of immature players. They are easy to spot because they do it because of their (meaningless) ladder rank which is usually su
Yeah that was a nice game. Your coordinated stuns (Rook) and Snipes were quite good. :) It was my second game with Frogboy and Dr_Theta. We won the first against quite hard opponents because we somehow had much better teamwork (staying together, capping and locking flags at the right time). Frogboy, if you ever need a personal shield generator, just message me. ;)
Win/Loss ratios (costum games): Lord Erebus: 1.28 Sedna: 1.22 Unclean Beast: 1.16 Oak: 1.05 </
Happens a lot more often lately and annoys the hell out of me, even when I'm on the losing team... I guess the word spreads how it works. Such issues (cheating) need to be fixed ASAP. This is no thing that should be fixed in some patch sometimes in the future. HOTFIX, <span styl
Whereas at EA , the mentally handicapped park on executive parking spots. Strange world.
Happened to me too recently, I think it's caused intentionally. GPG, please look into this. Just ask here if someone knows how to do it, I'm sure one of the more experienced players can tell you.
The host quit exploit has been fixed, but clever wankers already figured out a new way to make the game miserable for other players. Somehow they get the game to report an "invalid game state" whereafter the game quits automatically. Some people on this forum may already know how they do this, I do not. On top of that, the game counts as a loss for everybody but the one who caused it! In this game</
1+2) Good Ideas . 3) For the arranged t eams / ran dom teams option, the easiest (and most cheat-free, by renaming your ingame account etc.) way of implemetation would be another tick box and column for " randomized teams ". When activated , this would simply randomize the side that each player is on after the game starts (so the side on which each

With Demigod it does not matter who hosts the game because it's peer-to-peer. That means that faster connections or a faster computer do not make a better host! If one guy has a slow computer or bad connection, the game will lag for everyone, no matter if he hosted or if he joined the game. So if you can't find a game to join, simply host one. ;) Anyone with a ping under 350 (!) is fine to join. I did not believe that until I (EU) played a game with an Asian player and a Canad
I have nothing against premade teams.
Hahaha...I don't have a 190 win streak for nothing pac's...my boys aint no slouches!
Are you very proud of beating mostly PuGs with your premade team? I do not see you hosting just one "pro" or "premade" or "good players" or "teams" game in your last
Ok, Geryak. What set me off is that after four pages of basically everyone agreeing that he's unbeatable in 1vs1, you come in here and tell everybody that we're doing it wrong... The problem with your strategy is: His priests have, at worst, 720 health and they come in doubles. As soon as he gets +Minion Health Items or buys better idols, they can easily get 1700 health each . If you attack them, they can heal themselves for 200 (level1 i
By the way, the Rook gets knockback ("cleave") when his autoattack does more than 250 damage.
Welcome Spargle! You can also put a ping on the minimap for your teammates (for example if you want a Regulus to Snipe) by pressing "P". If you want to become better at the game it is very important to know when to retreat (even full health)! Get to know who is faster than you and who can slow or stun you. That's what seperates "noobs" from intermediate players imho.
Erebus' minions are spawned in a slightly different manner than Shamblers and such
Nightwalkers' spawning mechanism is quite similar to the Oak's Spirits (Raise Dead Ward = Erebus) and Spirits do have the same bug than the other minions.
It possible to 1v1 Erebus, survive, and profit with some dg's.
Geryak: Plays in games like "3v3nOObs". Has a win percentage of 39%. Says Minion Erebus is no problem if you kill his priests. Really, is he a troll or does he just have no clue at all !?
The Heaven's Wrath favor item knocks back enemies too. Altough it only does 250 damage I've seen it killing priest reinforcements, at least when they fall of the map in Cataract.
