I thought I'd ask here before sending an email to support. Anyone know if the debugger symbols for Entrenchment have been released and if so, how we can obtain them? Thanks in advance.

Lol, np. As long as we're all on the same page it's all good. Will wait for the go ahead before testing starts again.
Well, been away for a few days. Looks like you guys are already on the minidumps. The game is dumping on startup, mod already enabled. The error I'm getting is Text FileArchive missing Label. Something in the entity manifest. I have the exact error for any of the mod team who needs/wants it.
thank you guys for moving the defiant!!!!! it is my absolute fav. just out of curiosity, what kind of capabilities will it have?
Elite abilities haven't been decided on yet. Some have placeholder abilities that may be changed at a future date.
I personally think that the defiant fits better as a cruiser but hey its your mod im just happy to be playing it cant wate for
All testers, there will be more testing done tomorrow. This will be a continuation of today's testing. Even if you don't make it today please be sure to be there.
Welcome back
Hey and np, I only know because of my work for another mod lol. I haven't even updated my version yet, due to having a busy schedule but I'm pretty sure those are the major things that need to be fixed.
np, um, you opened them with wordpad or something similar correct? Just an aside don't use microsoft word, it can really screw files like this up lol. Once open scroll down until you see rotateToFacePlanet or rotateFacingType, if it's rotateFacingType then the files are already updated. To save time you could get something like notepad++, right click the file you want to open and go to open with notepad++ then you can go to the find option and enter that line for it to automat
The planet modules are in the game info folder in the mod folder. Once in the game info folder, scroll down until you find them, then go through and replace the line that says rotateToFacePlanet FALSE or rotateToFacePlanet TRUE with rotateFacingType "None". You'll have to do this with each planet module entity.
The defiant in the next version will be a capital. As for moving it, yeah you can move it, I don't know how and won't be taking the time to find out as we already moved it for the next release lol.
This mod hasn't been updated to run with the latest version of sins. Something that might need to be done is going in to the files for things that orbit planets (planet modules) and change rotateToFacePlanet FALSE/TRUE to rotateFacingType "None". Also Make sure you delete the galaxy folder for the mod. I think that's everything in the recent patches that'll break it but can't remember for sure.
Well first off this version is not Entrenchment compatible, so you'll have to run it in standard sins. Also is the 2nd mod download link working? I tried it and it appeared to work fine.
It's still crashing, new error: Entity Ref not found: RESEARCHSUBJECT_WEAPONDAMAGE_FED_PHASER3
Hey, Shimmer I have it converted. Want me to send it via msn?
It's crashing for me, error: entity ref not found: RESEARCHSUBJECT_WEAPONDAMAGE_KLINGON_TORPEDO0 I also got another one but I'm pretty sure that's the one killing it.
Beta team, i need everyone to sync as much as possible and start testing the updates to the research trees for feds and klingons, it will looks the same, but the values have changed.
On it Shimmer, out of curiosity, anything specific you want us to look for? That is if the only thing changing are the values, are we looking for things regarding balancing, ships dying too fast or w/e?
Actually no, I'm not playing with the highlight on. I'm just assuming they're like that because of my old graphics card.
As per your request Stress, I've dug through and picked out what IMO are my best screenshots. Strangely enough all my best ones seem to have the same ship present lol. If you need more screenshots I can always get more, just let me know. Looking forward to testing your new torpedo changes Shimmer. <img src="http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/e
The klingon tech trees look good for the most part. A few cosmetic things like research on the wrong tier based off how many stations you need but nothing serious. The new misses and balancing, well until you say it's ok to comment on it I won't say anything Shimmer. I also haven't noticed that weird movement with the K'tingas anymore so Idk if you fixed that or it was just one of those minor movement glitches.
Log in to Impulse and you should be able to download it there.
The ships phase jump between systems by going from one star to the next.
All testers who are still going to be testing email, IM or pm me please so I can get the list to Shimmer. I'll be sending out emails also. Any bugs found you can send to me or post them and I'll get them up on the main topic.
Glad to hear this is still going forward. No hard feelings Major Stress. Darkshimmer, I'm ready, willing, and able to help out wherever I can.
This is an issue with all old non-updated mods running in newer versions of Sins. Delete the galaxy folder in the mod, and it should fix it right up.
Hi. I was wondering that can someone tell me does this mod work with sins 1.17 patch?
I believe the currently released version, 0.03c, does. Not totally sure on that though as I haven't touched standard sins since entrenchment came out.
