Play with /nosound option to increase simspeed. Although your gpu can handle the graphics, make sure you turn everything down anyways. Play on small maps only like prison to increase simspeed.

I don't know how much retailers/gamestop makes but lets say half $20. You still get $20 if they purchase it gamestop. So I think $6,000 lost to gamestop is more accurate.

Demigod is based on a modified supreme commander engine game. Did Supcom experience the same multiplayer issues? I wonder if Gas powered games is regretting now and wish they had stuck with using the supcom multiplayer part. Supcom got great reviews too. Digital download gives more money to stardock which is a good thing. You can burn the downloaded version but it requires your account/password to install it on another pc. The retail dvd, you can install it on any computers without cdkey. I would pick retail version for convience.

1. Bad multiplayer network 2. No tutorial 3. No campaign or story If this game was like other multiplayer games like Team Fortress 2, Quake wars. Then it should be a $30 game or less. So even if they fix the multiplayer issues, it'll give the game an extra 10 points in review, but no where near the 90s.

Yes, Stardock made mistakes. they pay the price. some sales will be loss. hopefully the multiplayer will be fix soon, if it's still like this in 1 month. then the community won't be growing at all. Warez users can't patch the game. They can't just go download a patch from any website. So they will always be playing the old version 1.00 The only way to patch this game is through impulse and only legitiment users can do that. It's the same way with their other game Sins of a solar empire.

you need to upgrade. Most likely your video card, the minimum requirement is x1650. Your cpu might need upgrade as well, so maybe just buying a new computer is a better option.

I'm not familiar with AMD athelon64. If this is single core, no it will not run it. If this is dual core, yes it will run it. the ghz speed doesn't matter imho.
