Reply to Testers: Post Your Feedback on the Beta Process Here in Demigod Demigod Forums

I was expecting a demo or near finish game like the other marketing betas. I'm a casual player and really don't have the time to test through all the phases. I won't be participating in any more of Stardock's beta in the future. I will wait for the game to release to try it. Demigod is a fun addictive game that hooked me in even through all the beta issues. I wish the betas were release on time. If you can't make it then don't promise a date.

You can use Rook and warpstone right next to regulus. Then boulder roll and hammer slam which usually kills Regulus or any other demigod.

Demigod metacritic review score guess thread in Demigod Demigod Forums

Lets guess what metacritic review score Demigod will get? For a reference, here are some metacritic scores of past stardock/gpg games. Sins of a Solar Empire 88 Supreme Commander 86 Stardock says "No full-priced stardock game has ever gotten a metascore less than 85" I think Demigod will get an 86 average metacritic.

Not just routers, but 2.5 year old video cards won't work well. Anyways, anything older than 2.5 year old may work, but it is recommended to have the newest computer and router.

Gas powered games and Stardock are both a fan of custom mods. They plan to have mods in the game after release at a later time. My guess is probably 4 months after release.

This happens to me too at random times. It freezes for 2-5 seconds and I usually get disconnected with other people after I unfreeze. When it freezes, shift-tab and alt-tab doesn't work, but I can move my mouse cursor. The freeze happens with multiplayer humans and 1vs1 AI.

In my opinion, a router is suppose to last forever or atleast 10 years. Having anyone, especially casuals, buy a new router for this game is unfair. Luckily, I have a new router.

I think Demigod will be more like TF2. The rook will be doing the same thing in most games, regulus will be doing mines and snipe, etc. Which isn't a bad thing, TF2 is a successful game and Demigod will be too. I think demigod will be a great fun game but you won't see the type of strategy depth found in Starcraft.

I notice ebgames.com and gamespot updated their website today from 4/14 to 4/9/2009. It would be good if the release date got moved up but maybe it's just an error from their website.

Same thing in USA. It's cheaper on amazon.com than Stardock. Just buy where ever you find the cheapest like all other electronic stuff. For example, you can buy an apple ipod cheaper in any website than apple.com. You can buy World of Warcraft cheaper in many places than blizzard.com.

I updated a computer similar to the one mentioned in the OP. I don't think it's worth the upgrade since I wasn't able to run Demigod that well.
