Quoting OsirisDawn, reply 410 I already made that suggestion, but they choose to ignore and keep ranting. Makes me wonder if it is really such a huge issue with them. I think it comes down to, having read this insanely long thread too much, is the idea that some people want to be able to spawn a sheaf of copies of Elemental on their LAN and have everyone play in MP, using th

I don't see him mention tactical battles as the cause, just a cause for whiners, lol. Other than special items and the like the TBs would be the same as SP no? Maybe someone else on their team actualy likes multiplayer with turns?
You add absolutely nothing to the discussions by throwing around insults. As for tactical battles, they
I think a game like this without tactical battles is not really a full game, its like playing X-Com without the tactical battles. Its like reading a book or watching a film and skipping all the action scenes. It removes a significant context from the game. If multiplayer isn't fun WITH tactical battles, I don't see how removing them makes it MORE fun. When its an 'hosting' option I don't see the problem. Yeah for random people but I alw

Multiplayer fans LIKE our games big, messy and klugy - even if you don't.
Yeah I don't know what a wizard duel would entail, but I am not interested in some sort of short combat&nb

At least some information was given, and there might be potential in the future, who knows. I keep hearing about demand for MP, except when you ship a game with less than barebones MP, it seems unlikely to drive up demand. We'll see. I'm still holding out some hope that this will moddable, at le

Stardock has made several statements about MP that do not seem to be in the game. At no point did they say they were going to add a half-finished MP component to the game, but if they have, please do point me in the right direction." Here is one. Thank you for taking the time to address some of the issues that have been brought up and giving us your honest opinion. I fear MP may never have much to it as I don't know how much demand there will be when MP players primarily seek games elsewhere, but we'll see. Regardless, thank you.
I agree and also work as a Technical Consultant supporting some of the largest blue stock companies across the globe. Those Stardock boys need some basic computer classes. Being bridged or gated to a WAN does not make a LAN any less of one. This is why many of these arguments don't make sense. The overwhelming majority of residential LANs have internet access, but you'd argue that they then are no longer LANs. Which is silly a
