build starbases. in an AI games the trade port income will pay themselves off eventually.

I find flack to be an extremely hard counter to corvettes. the corvettes can have double the supply, and the flack will still win.
If you are a newbie, and want to get good at sins, watch this replay, and copy what raging amish does. He is one of the best players on sins. I beat him in eco at the end there though. hehe :) wasnt totally fair though, I had pervasive econ, and he was advent. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/36550973/RagingAmish%20Plays%20Sins.recordreb Its a good game to.
THhose titan match ups and results are almost exactly what I expected in a 1v1, and i consider balanced. aka, goliath SHOULD beat every other titan period. Only complaint is your reliance on autocast, instead of manuelly casting abilities.
@OP. I generally agree with your sentiment. there are some things i dont agree on, i dont think corvettes need t obe more pricey. However most of this will have to be revisited when 1.03 comes out whenever it comes out (any day now hopefully???) If i had 2 cents to add, it would be that I still dont see anyone use dominas. And comparing their price with hohos, they are very very very expensive. Id consider reducing their cost a tad. or a bit more than a tad.
If you have proper scouting or good intuition you will be able to start building carriers when your enemy starts building HCs. and if you are repulsing them, well thats only one race, might as well mention hoho's demobots and distorion field while we are at it. A combination of disabling support crusiers (or guardians), and bombers is prolly best.
preety sure its a known issue.
build ~66 carriers and fill them with bombers. bombers counter hcs.
absolutely zero difference between diplomacy and trinity. upgrade to rebellion.
I belive there is a bug with the planet culture, yes.
preety sure this is a known issue.
not your thread.
just use the dam phase gate. you can go compeletely mobile with them.
you remember incorrectly zombie. In diplomacy, they would often post change logs, up to a week in advance.
check the port in the user.settings text file. it should be 8000. its here: C:\Users\ \Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\Setting
I think he wants the patch notes for the patch we are supposed to get this week.
move your entire fleet away from the world their fleet borders. they will try to attack it. jump back in, destroy their entire fleet, and while there stuff is rebuilding, take a planet. rinse, repeat. also make sure you have pervasive economy and developement mandate researched, and max possible tradeports on every planet (unless it shortens trade chain). let your novaliths just be on autocast, they will do their job of 1/2ing enemy tradeport income. &
Amish is back! Best Player. Good Forumer.
prolly not a bug. prolly attacking vasari with hanger defence upgrades. play one of the vasari's and check out their defencive tech tree.
Ya. theres some things. but the devs have said that a balance patch might come out this week? so. cant waits for that.
maybe REDUCING roid fracking will be something addressed in the map pack. but, having messed with the random map generator, it is IMPOSSIBLE to have a random map ever be always balanced or non-roid-screwing. They would have to rework the map generator, which is prolly never going to happen. AKA. you better hope there are alot of awesome premades in the map pack.
Awesome review. I just hope that the background logistics side of multiplayer is upgraded to support the multiplayer oriented gameplay :D
you need to disable SLI that should solver your problems.
DS. really. really. really. I dont know if that was intentially a joke, but. really?
16%. not 5%. not .01%, 16%. k? and thats 16% of sins players online of all sins players. thats not 16% who have ever only tried multiplayer, thats 16% online right now.
