thread title changed, so your happy. :-) i know dominas and subjugators were rare... but overseers were not rare... and ceilos were almost as rare as dominas and subjugators... so... if rareness is a... judge of how usefull they are... but that argument is kinda a bad one. idk. I just like things to be even... and right now i just think that the turn rate is a bit more even for non-tec than tec atm. *cookie for first to get reference*
this would be cool. it would also be cool if a ship, knowing that its getting hammered, the captain would occasionally rev the engines up to full, and attempt to get the hell out of there.
SO... patch came out. yay. All cruisers with non-omni-directional ablities got a turn buff... except tec's cruisers with non-omni-directional ablities. so... i just dont get that... unless the devs are biased against tec... anyone care to shed some light on that? I mean... my best guess is that all the non-tec support cruisers (cept guardians) in deciever's large balance voting thead of doom were overwelmingly voted to get a boost. tec's support
ehhh... 2 screen shots... of things i think we have allready seen... sorry... but ima not impressed. (fix the akkan plz... although i think you are a stardock dude and not an ironclad dude... so you cant really fix it anyway)
Think about it like Ground based Telescopes don't do near the job that space based telescopes do. Only reason we still have ground based Telescopes, is becouse we havn't conqured space yet.
erm... wrong... actually. through the power of 1337 h4x, we have been able to compensate for atmosphereic distortions from the atmosphere in real time from the ground... which basicly
the problem is... alot of players tend to "smurf"... hide behind screen names with 0, or very low games... making them look nuby... and because the MP community is so small, everyone immediatly thinks "smurf" rather than "new player". its kinda sad... and its a issue that is often tossed about the forums... if you get a few games (even like 5) to your name... people will recognize you as who you are and not as a smurf. (if your feeling really pathetic... use ico and host&
on of the star mods (startreck, or stargate or something) has this issue on the OP... and so for me, non of the pages are visible... :-)
Distant stars, MS (mad scientist)... and so forth... are mods... they generally have rediculously long threads in the modding section of the forums, and their features are far too numerous to try and name here. (search feature ftw) I would, however, suggest, from personal expearance, that you should play the normal game (sins+entrenchment) for a while untill you get good with the game (alot of the mods tend to slightly turn up the difficulty level) and you understand al
do you have some wierd key binding thing going on where every time you hit one of the mouse buttons (or... anything) it sells metal to the black market? try resetting your key bindings maybe. Edit: that would be a totally evil thing to do to an opponent's computer before a game agaist them... ROFL.
I dont think i have ever seen a lv 6 desolator in multiplayer (although, that may change...)
...annd... we often burst out laughing at the ludicrousity of some arguments of liberal arguments for Obama.
DEFINATELY get entrenchment if you want to play online... and entrencment will be required for diplomacy.
sorry for the double post... forums go boom when i try to hit the edit button on that post... so... edit: However... i still find it unfair that the non-tec races get turn upgrades to support cruisers that have non-omni-directional ablities(subverter, overseer, and domina), whiloe the tech dont get a equal turn upgrade to thier support cruisers that have non-omni-directional ablities (which with be both the hoho, and the ceilo) annd.
herm... are you turning off auto-attack on a selection of ships by accident?
there is a difference between orky early game and late game.... orky early games are mofos... do you know how much it sucks to have a starbase building on your hw? even if you notice the migrator coming in from 2 jumps away... if your fleet is still early game (100-250 command points) and say... 4 jumps away... guess what? too bad. I know, cause I have had it used on me, and i have used it on other people... the orkey first weapon upgrade has a very nice damage multiplier vs
basicly, if you havent gotten it yet, the answer the other posters are: "We dont know"
I have actually done that before with an ally... but it is hard to pull off such timingz between 2 people.
the average damage stat you see in game is dmg/second (and is seriously rounded off). The damage upgrades effect the raw damage of an attack. so.... even though the game says a individual fighter does 2 dmg/second... and after upgraded it still says 2 dmg/second.. the actual numbers would be something like: Non-upgraded: (rawdmg)/(reattack time)*modifiers Upgraded: (rawdmg*.3)/(reattack time)*modifiers where modifiers would be dmg type vs a
the game your trying to join may be running a mod? i mean, if your updated to 1.03/1.17... thats all i can think of.
acutally... lrms did get... "buffed"... cluster warheads and charged missles got fixed... (I had on idea it was broken! (then again, i hardly ever use it)) (why did tec's support cruisers with non-omni ablities not get the turn buff that every other frig with a non-omni ablity got :-()
yay. moar ignore for you. (i keeled joor pirates, ryat... now give me teh new ones so i can keel them too.)
you gotta make sure it survives to level 5. it only gets one squad.
ya... that draining antimater will prolly be the best (or worst? depending on your view) part of all. Vasari players are going to have to think quite a bit harder on what they want their first capital ship to be. (I expect it to be very situational... instead hitting the egg button, and sending out the scouts... i expect players to send out the scouts ZOOM OUT see where they are on the map, and then pick... egg prolly still for econ spot... but if your on the front like... the other 4
anyway, is the homeworld bonus supposed to make your ships take 5% more damage? some of your other "bonuses" it seems are the reverse of what you would think they would be.
