Thing is, even with bite a bit underpowered now(the mana cost is a bit high for what you get now...), I'll still beat people. I've killed DG's without bite before, it just takes more effort. I don't need to kill you, I just need to make you run, and the change to bite shouldn't really make that any less possible. Do I believe the nerf is too much? Yes. Will I work around it? Obviously. Erebus is a very fun and versatile character to play, and I plan to enjoy him as such

That coming soon too? muahahahah
Seriously though, I would make UB's spit melee. Anyway, personally, if I were in charge of balancing, I would remove
what i find most shocking is the fact they nerf stuff ppl wernt even complaining about, ppl had a problem with the mo0vement speed reduction and armor debuff they barely touch the armor an didnt touch the movement debuff at all! then they increase the mana cost of max rank by what 60%? (guesstimate). then nerf the dmg/heal i mean if your gonna nerf a move nerf what ppl have a problem with seriously.
35%. That's

Even against Oak's sheild? I know that it works against Queen's sheild, because damage is still being done, although to the shield instead of the character, but with Oak, no damage is done. And in the case of Erebus' bite, it only takes back however much it damages by. So would that mean that Oak's sheild is essentially an infinite-HP buffer with a time limit then? I've never really noticed gaining back HP against a sheilded Oak, mainly because it's not to smart to hit an oak with a Sheild, s
Erebus can down out grunts pretty easily with bat swarm, it is effectively an AE
I occasionally use bats as an AoE, but only in emergancies, or there's no forseeable danger for at least another 15 seconds or more, factoring in mana usage. I (and smart Erebus players) would rather try to keep it for situations where it's use is integral. What I think really hurts Erebus most is that, especially

I wouldn't nerf it that much. The armour and speed debuffs a bit, perhaps, but not the damage it does. Especially with the massive cost increase. One or the other's livable, but both is a little extreme. Remember, Erebus counts on bite for survival and killing power, and he can't do much more then kill other DGs, so nerfing this skill to the point where it loses it's viability as Erebus' main attack ends up nerfing him considerably more then any of his other abilities, or dare I say, the abil

Let's see.... my big ol' list of Erebus weaknesses and counters: Weaknesses: -No projectile(Erebus and Sedna are the only DGs with no projectile attacks). Unless he approaches with Batswarm, he'll have to take damage when getting in close. -Squishy. He dies fast with little support or restricted skill access. -Very mana reliant. See squishy, but also make that offensivly too. -Weak autoattack. Very reliant on skill usage

Mists damage against creeps is laughable. You're better off slugging through them, or just using bats on them.
Erebus is overpowered. A skilled erebus player will defeat everyone and anyone else of similar skill. Why? Because he doesn't have a counter. He counters Reg and Rook easily and can take on Oak as well. What this equates to is, Pantheon is fucking screwed until Erebus is nerfed. There's nothing you can do except wait for some n

Well, I never really have room for pots... Gotta save room for flag locks and scrolls :P Don't remember the cooldown time off the top of my head, but I think it's around 13-15 seconds. 15 seconds should be enough to get the job done.

It has a long cooldown time and high mana cost. You could probably kill him before he got it back. And if he does it early game, he'll be pretty screwed if you start fighting him, since he probably won't have enough mana to teleport, kill you, and then teleport back. Not saying that it's fair, just that it's not impossible.

There are various stratagies in my Erebus Guide for beating him. Although they don't really apply to rook in one on one(since Rook is really bad in one on one to begin with, and Erebus ends up being very good in duels), they might be of some use.

Funny thing is that no matter how many times I see that the enemy's bought it, I never actually see it do anything, which is even funnier when you consider how freaked out the announcer sounds about it.
