heres an idea for your Erebus players - hmmm uses minions. I know its a radical concept, considering hes a general but just a thought. It's incredibly funny to see an Erebus use mist, because all it means is I just walk out of the cloud and in front of his exit route, and just wait for him to reappear, with less mana and nothing to show for it.
Quoting goldmull, reply 14 ant that is exactly where i would call it an exploit. the fact that erebus is able to do that just guarantees a win for his team. there is no way the other team could stop him from doing it. it's simply unfair and i don't think that the developers intended that.Damn Erebus! Only he can teleport across those gaps! No one but him can buy one of the two items that grant teleport, or by use the ge

People would occassionally bitch about whatever DG did the best, but Erebus is a banned character for anyone but complete noobs (we're talking first / second game ever in their life, here). I asked permission once to play him if there was another Erebus on the other team, I got it, and it ruined the game (went s
It was a bit of a painful nerf, but I think I'll live. Only problem is that it scales even worse then it did before. Although, being Erebus, you don't want long games in the first place. To nerf it anymore would be way too much. Personally, I think that it was a bit much, but I can't do anything about that. At least people won't complain as much about it being OP. Had two games since the nerf, lost one, won the other. The first match was lost beca
Well, I didn't tear up your base. The giants did. I just gave the last push that broke your citadel. And even then, I had Asscandy. Remember, Erebus has no attack skills that actually work on towers(bite can't be used on towers), and his normal attack is quite... lacking. Minions help, but it doesn't change the fact that he's the worst breaker in the game. Only reason why I ended up winning my first Pantheon match(me and a UB against 2 rooks), which just happened to be
Erebus isn't supposed to be SO OFFENSIVE (no pun intended) against other Demigods, if that were the case he should be a Assassin not a General. As a General his job is to, as much as the other Generals, cause the battle to go in their favor by caving in the enemies base/creep destruction, not specializing in DG killing. Sure, each General DG CAN hurt other Demigods as a Defense, but I don't think the developers were thinking of a Erebus who was onl
Flag locks. Lots and lots of flag locks.
Of course it does, because they are 2 different processes. Once something is internally balanced you can measure it against the rest and adjust everything at once accordingly. It was a bit of a clusterfuck early on. Mostly
For now, until the Erebus nerf, I keep my mana up. Mana is Erebus' life. If he has mana, he can live. However, with the nerf, I'll probably have to invest in more HP items, since with the new mana cost being as high as it is, I won't be able to support myself with bite alone.
QoT can't do anything about it. Bramble doesn't affect HoL anyways. If you get hit with bramble on, HoL will stop recharging you. I hope my english isn't too bad
Either way, I still win in the end. Makes it even better for me.
Also, for some reason, I'm missing a match. And it was one hell of a good match too. In fact, all my matches on Crucible are missing... Anyway, I noticed that the pantheon rankings are a bit off too. Namely, I have some of my custom and skirmish match rankings included in my pantheon rankings. Instead of being 4-0, I'm 9-6(should be 10-6, for the aformentioned missing pantheon match) (Yes, that's right, my numbers are that low. I don't actually play half as much as my forum activity w
Eh. Unless you've got a nice Oak or QoT on your team, it means you're going to have to run away to get it to work. That usually means I get to cap the flag. And that usually means that flag gets locked. I win in the end. I don't buy it. Better things to get with my gold.
Has the nerf gone through yet? I don't think it has, but I was playing against OrexxerO earlier today, and he thought it did. The damage was still as high as always though. I thought it would have been updated with the last patch, but it looks like it hasn't. Although OrexxerO was scared of the prospect of me with an even stronger bite then the one I had in our match... makes me feel warm inside. Speaking of OrexxerO, holy shit, Rook is freaking insane! I wouldn't call for a nerf, but

It's only good as a dodge move. I like to wait for people who use it as a stall tactic, just outside the cloud, and then kill them when they have no mana. Show them how a real vampire plays.

Wouldn't 4 Regulus' and an Oak be a better team then 5 Regulus'? They need to be able to see the guy, after all. And that way, all the Regulus players can stay out of sight of the rest of the enemies. Just chilling at the base. Of course, I'm rambling now.

Ended up slaughtering them. Level deficits aren't the problem. It's how you play through them. Level doesn't matter at all, it's the flags you control. Any good Erebus player should be able to tell you that. Either way though, kill swaps have such a high risk factor invo

Erebus players can be successful with a minion build utilizing mist with no points in bite. QoT especially. Tonnes of cool looking skills, but everyone can outdo her at everything when it actually becomes important. Only exception is Bramble shield, but even then, it can't stop Erebus. Erebus should be fearing QoT. She has everything that Erebus should hate. A long lasting, spammable shield, great survivability, and great minion killing abilities... And Erebus beats her every time. I don't get it. She needs to be buffed.
And there's a way to play Erebus without bite?
