Next, you waste a tonne of gold on equipment that could better go to citadel support. Namely, if you end up saving for artifacts, chances are you could have been saving for giants. This is the last time I'm going to explain this before I just start labeling people retarded. The reason these items are listed IN A SEPARATE CATEGORY is so that 'just in case' the game goes past giants, those are the items you should prioritize. I've ha

Then again, most people don't bother reading the instructions for anything, so maybe my expectation is set way too high.
Trust
Well, exactly. Either you waste time while I kill creeps, or it works just fine as a defensive technique.
I'm not a fan if I can't capture flags while I do it. I usually just disperse my minions around the map while I go back to the crystal if I want creeps while I'm out to lunch. Don't get me wrong, it's a viable stratagy when you want to block minion lanes, and you'll level fairly fast, but at the point

Slight correction, it's 'Nosferatu,' not 'Nasferatu.' Nasferatu sounds like the name of a bad goth porn movie. Not a fan. No consideration of what you're supposed to even do with this build in the first place. Second, I just don't really care for Erebus builds without some form of minion support. Namely, why the hell are you taking mist past level 1 when you don't even have any minion support in the first place? I might understand taking it when you use a half o

To be fair, so long as you can keep your warscore up, it is possible to make a comback from pretty much anywhere. Of course, I understand the point of your wall-o-text. The key issue is that our little newbie probably doesn't know what seperates a winnable game from an unwinnable game yet. Many players I've played with have no idea how important the warscore is. During the time of the game where you're a beginner, I believe that it's especially important that you do stay around until the end
Playing with it a but, I've found that Mist doesn't nessasarially have to replace Erebus' normal strategy, but lets you do one very cool thing- you only have to invest in mp items, basically; since you're invincable in mist form you don't really have to pay for armor the way every other character has to. EDIT: Also, Mist is basically Erebus' only aoe attack, so if you plan on farming creeps well you basically have t
Look at favor items like powerful artifacts, which they basically are. You can't play with them at the start of the game, because it would be silly and unbalanced. Imagine if somone on the other team started with mage slayer, or ashkandor, before you had any chance to buy a similar weapon. Would you have fun? No.
What's really funny is that none of the favour items are even comparable to those two artifacts. Not to

I wouldn't consider myself a pro. Just middle of the road, really. Things like flag locking should come very early on. I'm glad for the existance of this guide, since it means a few newbies might actually get the idea without me having to RAEG IT OUT TO THEM, but who's going to be looking at these sites anyway? Probably people who are looking to crack the depth behind the game, and chances are that they're not the ones who don't know to lock flags. I say just make the f

I've won a game where the opponent got at least 10+ more kills then my team(I'd be willing to bet that it was closer to 20 kills ahead of us). You need to realize that, after a certain point, if you're losing badly enough, it's not about fighting the enemy head on, but about winning through alternative means.
I think Mist a cool little evasion skill with a bonus of doing some damage, and is not particularly threatening in most cases. If an Erubus is misting he should probably be ignored and attention pressed elsewhere.
Or, better yet, just cover his exit and wait for him to come out of his little cloud, and totally destroy him when he's out of mana. I love doing that.

Just had a game where I got no favour bonuses, although I did well in every catagory. Basicly came up short on everything because I did a little bit of everything. Jack of all trades, master of none I guess. Shame you don't get favour for coordinating your team, but you can't measure that. Besides, good teamwork is awarded by the 75 favour for victory, so I guess that's the prize.

Well, I've had very few problems with online. It seems to be very hit or miss at times. As things are now, the game might work fine for you, or it might not work at all. Personally, my online experience with the game has been generally positive since I first bought my copy, so I can't really complain too much. There are the few games where people end up dropping randomly, and how long it takes to actually get a game started, but that's a small speedbump. Basicly, if it works, the game

Mass charm has its uses. Especially with muddle. Although it's a heavy investment to get that far. I mostly use it to get 3 seconds of stun time to recharge bite. It's also a useful tool for letting your minions catch up to a fleeing enemy. It's definetly one of the worse skills in the game, but that doesn't mean its inherently useless. Oh, and by the way, I play my Erebus as a mixed build. No mist though. Doesn't feel right if I'm not moving.

Reminds me of my greatest comeback, which happened today as well. 2 Erebus against a Rook and an Oak, the R&O combination ended up being 5+ levels ahead of us. It was thanks to some great flag capping and some fancy footwork that we ended up just inching them out on warscore, buy catipults, and cap their portal. We ended up having cats destroy their citadel just while they were going apeshit on ours. I swear, I've never stalled so well in my life. And my ally did some great capping of the

Well, I just came out of a match against an Oak and a Rook. Fucking hell. Easily the most incredibly hard combo I've ever had to fight against. Pentinance combined with Rook is a disgustingly powerful combo, and those two knew how to use it. They ended up being over 5 levels over us by the end of the game. The only reason why my team won was on account of some excellent capping on the part of my teammate(also an Erebus)(it was crucible, see where this is going?) and a healthy dose of stalling
