Are you advocating that if you were to pay more money, you would be able to get a better speed than everyone else, you capitalist pig?
Yeah, by buying a real computer and a real internet connection. Only in Communist Russia does game lag you. [e digicons]^_^[/e]
Your reading comprehension... fails miserably. Windowed mode. Not if you play Full screen. Been noticing much less random crashes while using windowed mode.
I know I know. But most people normally play in Fullscreen mode. Games running in window mode usually have MORE problems, not less....Demigod's just broken.

Yay down 2 people now! Not worth it. Plus when they leave it'll probably server split and take a couple more people with them.

I already know it works because I use it to great effect in most games. The fact that nearly everyone gets a Heart of Life is a pretty big statement on how effective it is regardless of the innumerable theorycraft counters that don't practically work. And you know why? Because 80% of the time you don't even know they have a Heart of Life because you can't see the items on enemies and there's no in game graphic that it's being used.

If desync happens the game is over. I leave immediately. You can't play with it up and the game isn't going to count anyways most likely.
2. When you just join a game, the host is on the bottom team with another player
Yeah, if the host is EVER on the bottom then it's definitely a pre made. Also if anyone ever addresses other players by real names like "Jeff." A clear tip off.
Give the players more gold for creep killing; allow the losing team to farm for gold also, not just for exp.
I've always been in support of this. Currently if you're down a gold difference because the enemy killed your Demigods a few times the only way to make it back is....to kill their Demigods. Which you can't - they have better items because of the gold difference. And they already bought the currency upgrade with the gold they got from killing you
I'll be damn honest, I don't see how anyone plays any class with only a Vlemish faceguard. I hear it all the time "Vlemish Faceguard is so op, it is the only mana items you need!" I have played TB and Regulus extensivlely online as well as most the other classes extensivly offline and I don't see how that is possible. Most heros (with maybe the exception of Oak) are so mana intensive, I end up needing atleast two mana items if not for favor items.
They really mean "I us
You may have run from the Demigod but did you outrun his minions?
All minions are slower than the Demigods, so yeah, you did. Once you get that 3 feet of seperation because your move speed is higher you can pop the HoL and heal right in front of their face if you time it correctly.
You should see the stuff that can happen in Team Fortress 2 when you Alt-Tab the game [e digicons];)[/e] . Not only is it horribly, horribly slow, but the game itself will be screwed up (invisible players, floating weapons, seeing scouts with rocket launchers etc.)
I know it. If you alt-tab in TF2 you are not coming back. However, that doesn't mean that TF2 is perfect. If you're designing a game for Windows it better as hell be able to alt tab clean
You should have to stand still while using HoL.
I've always thought this is the solution to HoL. Also make a visible graphic so you know when someone is using the damn thing. (Wand of speed has a graphic) Or make it so the HoL restores Hp, or mana, but definitely not BOTH. HoL is good for every single hero because every single hero uses mana. HoL makes it so that you can spam your skills with abandon. The only person I don't get it with
If someone wants to quit a match, they are going to do it. And here's the thing: THEY SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE
I'm not sure where you've gotten the notion that the new changes will make people UNABLE to leave games. Go ahead and leave and eat your disconnect. I'm not sure why you care so much about it given your lack of concern for the rest of the players in the game.
Err, DotA doesn't do well at all, regardless of a banlist. Community = terrible, getting into a game with people of the proper skill level = terrible. The damn thing is literally unplayable if you aren't in a clan. As we can see from DotA, a banlist will do nothing against the ever-streaming tide of laggers, leavers, and afkers who knock at your door. I'll wave to you next time I see you on the beach with a teacup, trying to drain the ocean.
Sounds like Demigod's commun
For a P2P system, each person connects to all other people. For a 5vs5 player game, each person is connected to 9 other people. This results in 45 connections being made. P2P system basically represents a complete graph; the number of edges between nodes (in our case, connections between people) is given by (N * (N+1)) / 2 where N is the number of people in this case. A 6 person game is 15 connections. My point here is that the number of connections gr
