2.) Fire TB cant autoattack people while chasing after them. Ok maybe a feature. But consquently this makes it so if you target a demigod to chase after them you as fire TB will automatically slow down to your targets speed, even if that demigod is snared -60%. Fire will TB will then move at -60% trying to go after the snared demigod. Annoying feature imo.
I personally think this is a bug because every other demigod including the ice
If I was one of the people with connectivity issues, the last thing I'd want is to add fuel to the fire when people kick me out of their custom games (assuming its viewable there at some point) because the system "thinks" I rage quit.
But if you have connection issues all the time and lag out they wouldn't want you either. So still no problem.
Player A hosts a custom game. Player B, Player C, and Player D join game. What if Player A wanted to play with Player B and Player D, but Player B was banned by Player D for some reason. And Player C wants to play with Player A and Player D, but can't b/c Player B banned Player D also.
Then Player D will make a decision, stay and play with the banned player, or not.
Hey, that's an idea: If someone ragequits on one team, have the game randomly kick another player off the other team to keep things even. That would make the game almost perfec
It won't seem almost perfect when you are the player randomly kicked through no fault of your own. It will seem like the dumbest idea in the world.

I don't think you should be able to join games in place of other people, but being able to rejoin in a game that YOU were disconnected from would be a nifty feature. Though it would be preferrable to fix it so that you'd never get dropped.....

I'm always wondered why they don't have a port test of some kind BEFORE you join a game. Click skirmish, and it runs some packet tests. A message pops up "Your ports [numbers the game is using] are currently blocked. Please visit to learn how to open them. Without open ports chances of connecting properly are greatly reduced. Thanks."
that doesn't justify the community's extreme response to them. Most of the people railing against ragequitters want to use banlists. That's like using chemotherapy to treat the common cold.
Actually it's more like using chemotherapy to treat cancer. Sure there's collateral damage but it's the only way we have right now to stop it.

And the remaining people who stayed get "Honorable Losses" instead of just a loss.
I think we need to dispaly rage quits as part of their connection info personally. I think a rage quit should be determined by how many minutes were played after the person quit. If the game continues for more than 10 minutes, it counts as a rage quit or something like that.
I completely agree that quitting because you were killed once or twice is retarded, but if a game has been going for 30 minutes and the opponents are 10 levels over you making their pretty push with their recently upgraded full creep wave, I'm not going to e-rage over my teammate quitting.
Fairly sure no one is talking or complaining about quitting in this situation. But if the enemy team is only 1-2 levels over you with a partially upgraded creep wave....

Vlemish. Heart of Life. The Staff of Renewal is my new favorite favor item for Regulus and TB. And you usually start with a cooldown flag on many maps.

The forum is indeed bugged to hell. New posts will sometimes not update. Posts you KNOW you made won't show up when you click the topic until like 20 minutes later. Number of posts on the index page will be wrong. Sometimes replies just vanish into thin air. The only thing that seems to work reliably is the indicator icon whether a post has new replies you haven't seen. However if you click that topic you might not see them until you refresh several times

I posted a huge long post yesterday but today discovered the forum had eaten it. Just pretend I completely perfectly countered every point you made Vesuvius and was so eloquent and convincing that you swore off leavers forever and also volunteered for charity work.
This doesn't really say that he ragequits losing battles. He quits battles he speculates he is going to lose. You are making a huge leap in logic assume that equals every game that is "a losing batt

It's called arranged team. A staple of Wacraft 3 and done extremely well there. They just need to implement something like it. Randoms fight randoms, premades fight premades, and everyone is happy.
Not sure how you are seeing this happen. I just ran a couple simple tests to confirm this, and couldn't get it to happen. If this does happen, it was not an intentional change, and we need some solid repro steps to isolate it. I want to believe you but, it isn't as simple as shoot+die=profit. - Servo
Oh you didn't actually make that change. That's good.

It's easy to tell though. When you joined was there a closed slot on the top team that mysteriously opens and is filled later? Does anyone on the bottom team move up after someone "suddenly" times out? Are the people on the top talking to each other but not to you?
It still doesn't justify absolute morality because different people will come to different conclusions about what they would like.
Yes and this is what a normal ("common") person would like - for people not to leave and ruin games. Again, we're back to common sense. You really don't want to concede this point. Why? Do you seriously think it is ok for people to ruin the games of others and that most people should share that view point? Why
Everyone has their own views on morality, you just can't reasonably apply your own to other people.
Everyone has their own views about everything, but that doesn't make them valuable or correct. A smart move if you're trying to avoid them.
How was it not common sense among
