I have one or two minor quibbles, but everything looks more or less playable. I see no reason why this should not be made official Demigod canon. Great work, morph! I think if this mod were made official, we'd be seeing a wider variety of favor items being used.
OMG_Epiphenomenon
I think it would be nice to have Assassin-only games. An Assassin team isn't really viable at the moment. (With one possible exception)
Sedna + Oak is one of the more vicious 2v2 combinations... though it does have drawbacks.
Sedna and Oak are THE vicious 2v2 combo. :P Having read the OP, I would say that you should stick with BotF. Your monks heal you better with it. Cloak on Night is a bad favor item for Sedna, because she relies on bishops. She needs to max her HP.
Is it a 1,2 replay?
I've found the best way to play sedna=D, and yes you can practically beat everyone with it including minion builds.
Sssshhhhhhhhhh, stop telling l33t Sedna secrets. For once, I actually agree with something you said. :P
From what I know, I don't really think that is possible. Why it wasn't added originally is beyond me, as it's a game mechanic that has existed for eons.
Yeah, well, tower rook can be extremely annoying too. :P He is incredibly easy to play, though. I tried him for the first time the other day, and I didn't die once against decent opponents. I sort of think a mist + minion build is a decent strategy.
TB_Master didn't list minions as a reason Erebus was OP. His problem with EB was that Erebus is impossible to kill. The only thing I would consider OP about him is that it is possible to permamist on Leviathan using low-cost mana items. It allows him to camp reinforcement spawns and throw waves of minions at at the citadel. I haven't seen anyone use this in a long time, though.
Like I said, I consider towers as "minions," so she certainly couldn't take on a tower Rook.
sorry sedna will lose.
Your Sedna is doing it wrong then. In fact, I see very few Sedna's that do it right. There is one correct way to play Sedna, and I rarely see it used. Sedna can 1v1 anything without minions. (I consider towers to be "minions.") Imo, she's the strongest 1v1 Demigod. (Haven't tried her against non-tower Rook, though.)
Well I have seen a light side TB so its possible but whatever
Wat.
I'm with Chromeweasel on this, but I'll take what I can get.
not saying he is killer. He has everything. Invincible + remove negative effect (mist), damage + heel (bite), warp+Aoe (Bat swarm) AND PRIESTS....
He has low health and high mana requirements, too. I'll put up Sedna against an Assassin Erebus any day.
That there is just plain not right, first of all dieing to put up a flag lock is sometimes expected and the death is considered worth while
As I said, you don't have to kill a Demigod in order to win. Certainly, you can be killed in order to help you team win, such as suiciding to lock a portal. It's easy enough to die as opposed to getting a kill. You didn't read my statement carefully enough. :P
You don't have to kill any Demigods in order to win a game on Conquest mode. In fact, there ought to be zero deaths in the highest levels of play. Whether a Demigod is unkillable or not is irrelevate to whether he is overpowered.
I'm guessing is has something to do with Furious Blade.
"Boil em, mash em, stick em in a stew!"
I thought of tatertot as soon as I saw the title. :p
I agree with Obscenitor on the Symbol of Purity. It needs 450 health to be viable, otherwise no one will pick it.
How about putting WotS on a 30 sec cooldown?
The reason it has a 15 second cooldown is because it can be cast in 0.3 seconds. Fireball can be interrupted, and it's easy to close the gap on TB when he's casting it. This won't happen with DA.
Cooldown Reduction Aura is OP for only 2250 gold.
Sorry, morph, I just copied and pasted something I posted from another thread. :P I agree with Golgoth, though. Let's set the price at 5000.
My idea on helmets is that all of them should be made necessary to the team. Currently, you *have* to buy a Vlemish. On maps besides Leviathan, a helm like Plenor won't do much on its own since most Demigods' base MPS is pretty low. More helms need to be + MPS based rather than % MPS based. Also, all mana helms need to add base mana. Mana helms are worthless if they do not add base mana. Here are my suggestions:</
Sigs are awesome. We should have them.
