double post.
OMG_Epiphenomenon
Naur is the best damn Oak in this game. I think he got bored with it because he's so good. :P
I'm not sure how many of the major bugs could be fixed without some substantial reworkings. I would think that a Demigod 2 would be the best route. Fix the pathfinding, netcode, and exploits. Allow players to adjust the lag from 350 ms if playing on a LAN. I'd buy DG 2 if it had all of these things worked out.
DA needs a buff. This is a good start.
Prizm, wtf is wrong with you.
I agree, Ooze Erebus is the best. Lulz. Yes, you gain experience, and minions are spawned too. I think mist works decently with a minion build. I think Mist is easier to pull of on Leviathan due to the mana regen flag. You don't need all of those helms and can stack a health item.
That's a good point. It's often worthwhile for a BotS beast to grab gauntlets of brutality as well for surprisingly high early game damage.
TB_Master, here's how they should be compared: BotS Beast: Banded Armor (+400 Health) Unbreakable Boots (+600 Health) Nimoth Chest Armor (+500 Health + 750 Armor) Hauberk of Life (+600 Health) Narmoth's Ring (+750 Health) Blade of the Serpent (+0 Health) BotF Beast: Plenor Nimoth Chest Armor (+500 Health +750 Armor) Unbreakable Boots (+600 Health) Narmoth's Ring (+750 Health) <p
I like it better than acclimation, to be honest. It's probably not a rational love. :P
I don't see how assassins can beat a Sedna and Oak.
It's the level 15 spit ability, Putrid Flow. It gives spit some decent AoE. With BotS, you can spam it. :P
It takes a lot of practice to learn the Hammer Slam and Boulder Roll combination. You might want to try buying some Boots of Speed so you can chase your opponents when you use the Hammer Slam. You may not get a lot of kills, but you will be able to hold your ground. Also, buy as many health items as you can. That will increase your survivability if you have problems staying alive.
Did they pull a concede + quit + quit?
Heck, I want the game to live for a long time. I still play. It's just bad that so many people have left. Instead of hating on them, we should be trying to get them back.
Neither is bitching about a video game to people who couldn't care less.
If I had to choose between the exodus we've seen and having lots of complaints on the forums, the exodus is hands down the bigger problem. Will he convince anyone? Probably not. These complaint threads are a sign of the disinterest and frustration with the game rather than people maliciously trying to troll. We haven't had serious trolling on here since Foreshadowed (maybe playgroundlegend). If you
Yeah, you should never pass up shield 3. It's so very good. :)
He wasn't trolling. He was giving us his opinion on the game in a non-offensive manner, and he was right about most of his points.
I can kill almost an entire creep wave with spit. That's insane. :P
I think we should have one thread for complaints, and that's it. The amount of people leaving is not good for the rest of us. :(
Yeah, you don't get any experience from creeps that are knocked away by post mortem. I only ever get it if I play against an all-out minion build. Plague is even worse, it removes the post mortem effect.
I used to get Post Mortem, until I realized it reduced the experience I received.
On Leviathan, you don't even need a Hungarling's crown to Permamist. I tried a minion-based version of permamist, and it didn't work so hot. Maybe I'll give this assassin version a shot. I simply love Rank 4 mist. The AoE heal and damage is fantastic. I've only played 3 games with Erebus, so I'm trying to give him a serious chance.
Yeah, I usually have trouble holding a lane from levels 1-4, but by level 7 I can usually equal any other DG. I usually buy scalemail and banded armor for my starting items.
If we're going off of experience, I've beaten BotF UBs regularly. I think that player skill has a lot more to do with it than specific builds, so it might not matter too much overall which one players decide to pick. I've been toying around with a permamist minion erebus build, and it's insane. :P
If you use a helmet with BotF, then its not 800 extra HP.
