Not my build (see OP). My base build and the logic tied to it fit Kokujin's build (http://forums.demigodthegame.com/360152/#2371610) and strat. I vary on favor item based on the opposition/team, play style, and map. Might use BotF, BotS, but one of my favorite favors with this build is poisoned dagger... though I typically can't justify getting it. Regarding SocialistRyan's build, for what he's out to accomplish, IMO its very solid. One thing I'd throw into the mix would be
OMG_Epiphenomenon
Pacov, I'm surprised you don't at least get BotS. It allows you to Spit out the wazoo. This is pretty much just an Ooze build that every once in a while will spit. I usually throw in a Nature's Reckoning for the mana (and damage).
actually stacking on evasion is not that a good idea. Rather stacking on health will grant you more chance to be alive and combo with monk idols. 30% evasion DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOUR DAMAGE TAKEN IS REDUCED BY 30%
What's the expected value of evasion, then?
It only happens when an object slightly outranges Oak. You're out of range, but the animation still occurs.
Whoever thinks Magnus Rod is a bad item hasn't used it enough to know how good it is. It's a must for an ice TB, since all his spells run on the same cooldown as the Magnus Rod.
the ony problem is it uses up an item slot
IMO, it's better than using up a gear slot. Having two gear slots taken for mana helms is worse than having only one gearslot and an item slot taken.
I love how your name is TB master.
136. Star Wars > Star Trek
Glad to hear it! That's why I write these things. :) Let me know if you have any improvements, especially with the item choices.
You missed the entire point of the guide. It has to be used with a map that has a mana flag, like Leviathan. CoPM adds 71.08 MPS for 10 seconds. Over 45 seconds, this equals 15 mana per second at Level 1 . Plus, as soon as you get a Vlemish, it will add at least 120 MPS for 10 seconds. Plus, it will be cast on nearby teammates when you use it. It clearly wins out over CotN.
For gear, get a mana helmet and nimoth for some armor/hp unbreakables are standard for me on any god, scalemail helps for even more armor and is only 400 it hink.
The most essential item with this build is a Magnus Rod. Silence and Magnus Rod run on an *identical* cooldown, so they synergize exceptionally well. You'll be able to cast Silence at 50% mana cost constantly. If you want a legit Silence Sedna build, you should use the Diamond Pendant and Mag
I think warp cape and inner grace need to be a bigger focus. You can get to your teammates much quicke effectively doubling the range of your heal.
If you're referring to the Cloak of Night, it would completely negate the focus of my build, since it's built around CoPM. You need mana in order to heal. My build creates a substantial mana regen, even from level 1. A Cloak of Night build can't get anywhere even close to the mana regen that my build does. I do get 1 rank o
Concerning Magnificent Presence, I usually get it because it reduces the cooldown on the Cape of Plentiful Mana. A 12% reduction of 45 seconds shaves about 5 seconds off. In my opinion, that is significant. Plus, it helps your teammates too. And yes, Plenor doesn't really work with this build since the Cape of Plentiful Mana only affects your base MPS. About scalemail, I'm a tad bit hesitant to put it in that early in my build. This Sedna has jack
Super Support Sedna (A map specific build) At some point in time, I’m sure you’ve seen a support Sedna. This build focuses on supporting your teammates without playing a front-line role. Some may say that it is weak since Sedna isn’t acting as a tank. Does it sound sort of wimpy? It’s better than you would think at first glance if done correctly. <str
At least the title is better than "logical facts." :P
What the hell is a "logical fact?"
Olvide de decir que puedes jugar con jugadores in los Estados Unidos si su ping es menos que 350.
Hola Michel! Me llamo Garrett. Vivo en los estados unidos. No he oido decir de sudamericano jugadores, pero es posible. Bienvenidos! Cual Demigods juegas?
Namely, when I add an AI on normal, remove the AI, and then re-add it, 4/5 times it will be the same DG. Not sure if that means anything. Anyone else notice this? I'd think it would be random each time you add an A.I.
I'm not entirely certain that the random seeding that DG uses is actually random.
This ignores the fact that even if UBx2 were overpowered the odds of getting it would be quite slim compared to getting any other combo. At best you'd get it what, one out of every eight times? Someone who's depending on that kind of odds is going to lose a lot of games trying to get that one "imba" advantage. Random is fine.
The odds are brought to 25% if one player is UB and another player is random assassin. Double spit is a biatch, and so is double Ooze.
There is no advantage pre-launch, but it can translate to an advantage/disadvantage in-game. I've played games where my random team resulted in 2 UBs. You can counter dual Ooze and Spit before launch by choosing a different demigod. Less adjustment is possible once the game has launch. It's like playing roulette. It's fun, sure, but it hinders competitive play. Multiple players choosing random assassin is IMBA, imo.
I've seen this too before. It cracked me up. :P
I've been getting them from just one person.
Double UBs are a very good counter to minion builds, if your opponents will let you use them. Ooze + Post Mortem + Plague + Nature's Reckoning works pretty well.
