Now that they've temporarily removed the horn of battle, you might as well use Swift Anklet. :P
OMG_Epiphenomenon
I wonder if stats will still report if an entire team drops.
Also, Cape of Plentiful Mana is an aura that is not debuffed while in mist. Oh yes. :P
It's a decent guide. It'll be very powerful if you can get to level 15. Unfortunately, most games are decided before then. The teleport value of towers is enough to warrant at least 1 rank.
The Sedna healing wind II + Level 3 priest typo is probably on the top of the list for my fixes, and it's literally 2 characters to fix.
Rank is still bugged. I have nearly a 70% win ratio, but my rank is somehow still 22,000. Going on rank doesn't necessarliy mean you'll be playing good people. http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/rankings/ladder/player/49186/
You forgot to get Boots of Speed as your starting item. :P
As a full-out AoE Ooze UB, I had serious problems handling this build. I don't see many people use it, but those who do pwn with it.
So THIS is how those annoying QoT minion builds do it. :P I am so going to have to try it. +1 Karma
WickedBear, Your tone comes across as a smartass. You're too pugnacious, even though you have good points. Half of communication is knowing how to say what you want to say. This community fails at knowing how to do this. It's a skill that will help you for the rest of your life. Use honey instead of vinegar to catch your flies. -Epiphenomenon
Holy frack, this was way more than I was expecting. o.O I wasn't expecting all of this, to be honest. Keep up the good work.
As an experienced Rook player, all of these strategies are more-or-less the generally accepted way to play Rook. You need 1-2 points in towers, and the rest of your skill points should be spent making Rook a Badass tank.
Later you can get a free boulder throw and hammer every 45 second which is nice.
I've never been able to get both in using EoM.
Shade, do I see you using Bestial Wrath? :P
Recently, _Shadow was banned. He is one of the most committed players in Demigod, and he helps beginners quite a bit. He does not troll. He is snarky at times, but to ban him without a warning is bad forum policy. I'm a moderator of another gaming community, and our policy is warn-kick-ban. He is one of the most dedicated players in demigod, and we need more people that play the game as much as he does. I don't know who to ask about this, so I'm posting it publicly.
This is a pretty good guide.A RookRoll build is extremely effective. I'm a little concerned that you save your skill points for a very long time. IMO, most games are decided before level 15. Sticking a few points in towers gives you some serious holding potential and doesn't require you to save skill points for 4 levels.
When using Silence, do you keep a count in your head of when your oppoenent's cooldown is going to expire? Otherwise, you're just using Silence during the normal cooldown to no effect. I've figured out that it's good to use Silence when there is a hybrid TB switching forms. It's a dead giveaway he's going to cast something. What do you think of pairing a Diamond Pendant with Magnificent Prescence I? The cooldown reduction is almost as good as a Staff of Renewal.
I just figured out that Ooze works while Orb of Defiance is active. :D
I've reported him a lot too. :| He needs to either behave or leave.
I can't figure out how to properly interrupt spells with TB's deep freeze. I can't even interrupt spells that have a 1 second cast, like Regulus's mines. His hands don't go back for them until at like .5 seconds. Any advice? I almost have to make educated guesses for most spells.
That would never prove anything. Theres far too many variables in that equation for it to have any significant meaning. The one thing this community needs to learn is patientce. Theres so may stratgies unchallenged and untried that to declare anything at all atm is nothing more than speculation.
I never said anything about "declaring." We've got to start sometime. We should host a doubles tournament. One team doubles/triples and another team counters. Then the other team plays the double and the original team plays the counter. If one team wins both rounds, then skill is probably a contributing factor. If the doubles win each time, then this would suggest that the double was better against the counter. If the counters win both times, then the counters were probably proven to be stronger than the doubles. I'd want to do this.
Yetis are useful at distracting and taking down Rook tower farms if no one else on your team is using a minion build. Yeti's high HP makes them good tower-distracters, but Sedna has too many other badass skills. The opportunity cost of using yetis is extremely high, in general.
By not dying to their one-trick-gimmick, bullying them off flags, and building leads in xp, gold, and rank. Oh wait, thats what we do against every team!
Good luck doing that with a 66% movement speed against ranged characters. Maim stacks with itself (I think) and having multiple people buy Wyrmskin handguards with a Poison dagger means that we can keep any one person at 66% movement speed. Once proximity mines and mark of the betrayer are used, you w
I've lost with the trip reg team. It's not as imba as most people think. 1500 damage isn't that much either if you have support. Not to mention, theres VERY few maps where you should have 3 regs in range on the same target, the only one I can think of is Levi, and not if they're anywhere but along the inner wall. My premade used to do this all the time, infact, we got more rage quits than ever even though its much less effective than our current setup.
Did you have much
