This is a really great combo. Staff of Renewal reduces the cooldown of Magnus Rod to 12 seconds. The effects of Magnus Rod last 5 seconds, so this allows you to run at 50% mana cost for 5 seconds with a 7 second gap. Plus, if the map is cataract, the cooldown flag reduces Magnus Rod's cooldown to 9.6 seconds. This combo lets you spam abilities because they cost less mana and all of your ability cooldowns are 20% less. What do you all think?
I can't foresee my opponents in Pantheon, but thanks for your input.
Yeah, I know my comment wasn't what you were looking for, but there's not a whole lot that can be done. It's a bad Pantheon matchup (go figure ;)).
Unbreakable Boots are better, Nimoth Chestguard is better. if you've already got both of those it can be worth it to get a Hauberk (especially if you're a general and you need minion health) but usually i skip it and continue saving for a Narmoth's Ring. or put the gold into the citadel.
I've found that Hauberk of Life is necessary for an Ooze UB build.
i tried it in a few games vs. CPU today just to see if it really does have a noticeable impact. i found that it does not. slowing auto-attacks by 30% for the first few seconds of a battle is going to save you somewhere in the range of about 200-300 damage (depending on armor levels, enemy attack speed and damage, being in melee range, etc.) its really a very small amount and not all enemy DG's will a

The Magnus Rod is what all of you mana-dependent HoL users should try using. If you look at the stats, it may not seem terribly impressive at first glance. First, it has a pretty good passive, +50% mana regen. Also, it's active ability means that your mana regen only needs to work half as hard to refill the mana you use. Spells that cost 400 mana now only cost 200 mana with the Magnus Rod. If your mana regen is 20 mana a second, you refill your mana in 10 seconds instead of 20. I've f

You'll need a Magnus Rod to make this build work. The Essence of Magic favor item is probably needed, too. Stack these two with a Vlemish Helm and you'll have insane mana regen. This way, you only have to sacrifice one gearslot for mana. I think this build has potential. A concern: You don't have any of your shoulder turrets. That's pretty good DPS. Shoulder towers let you tag a lot of minions. Also, archers take advantage from Life Steal. I'm not quite sure yet
If you had no fun with this game, why did you play it in the first place?
I've had lots of fun with this game; I don't know how I implied it otherwise. When I used the word "work," I meant that I put effort into achieving a goal. I had fun doing that. Now I have to do it all a second time. I'm not going to have fun doing it all over again.
Wow. I am truly speechless here.
And yet, you somehow found a way to blubber a long non-sequitur.
I just don't get it. This is a game folks and as such it is meaningless except for a brief escape from reality or to relax and to ultimately just have fun.
You are in the recreational camp of gaming. That's fine. I'm in the competitive camp of gaming. To me, it's about honing skills, inventing strategies, and bein
