I'm afraid I have no idea whether there is a Direct Connect feature, but I've not seen nor heard about it so I doubt it. Someone will chime in here whoe knows for sure. I believe a four-pack on Steam has a considerable discount. And I imagine everyone needs to have their own purchased copy. Lastly, I don't believe those who purchase through GOG can play with those who purchase through Steam. Someone can answer that more definitively as

I find I'm a bit more rare in today's gaming landscape for a number of reasons and one of those is my age. Mind you, I've seen quite a number of gamers my age and older playing games, it's not just about age. But my perspective's a bit different. I have a number of games on my Steam Wishlist that are there because I'm waiting for significant discount. That's true. There are games on my Steam Wishlist that I want to play some day but other games have my current atte

This and the nerfing of mission 4 of the campaign seem rather knee-jerk and prone to more change later. Mind you, this is coming from someone who's not good at embracing changes in games. That may be at odds with the devs plans, but it's honestly how I feel. Right now I just can't imagine there has been enough time and matches to truly let strategies develop.

I've seen a couple of 1st-move tactics. One is to use the first engineer to assist you base making a 2nd engineer until just under 20 seconds have elapsed (clock's on the right just under scorse). Then take that engineer to mfr a Factory next to the nearest metal resource point. That way the engineer takes the resource point while building the factory. When that 2nd engineer comes out have it create metal extractors on every metal extraction point at the base and then at the factory.<

Once I have 2 or more engineers selected with a mouse drag I'll use them to build something faster - defenses, factory, etc. - or to support the building of units. However, when I want to split one of the engineers off I cannot figure out how to get just the one I click on to respond. When I click on one of the engineers to select it and give it commands, all of the engineers in that group are selected. Am I missing a mouse-click technique or keypress? I've tried Shift-Click,

I just completed another campaign (the 4th one, that one HURTS), and at the end I could barely hear some audio during the cinematic. I keep music turned down as I'm listening for game audio clues, not the music. So I'm missing these and wanted to chime in. Also, I'll also STRONGLY agree with the fact that the UI is disabled while the dialog boxes come up during campaign missions. This is very frustrating. I either click madly trying to get the dialog to go away or wait and

The contribution of the integrated GPU on your CPU would be minimal. With a GTX670, the money makes sense to upgrade to a GTX900 series GPU. Were it a GTX700 series it's not quite as financially justified. The best thing would be that for DX12 games like Ashes of the Singularity you can use both the GTX900 and GTX600 series GPUs together without implementing SLI.

Why do I want more zoom? At what times do I feel zoom has limited my ability to play the game strategically and/or tactically? When I'm trying to get a better understanding of the relative proximity of neighboring resource points and the terrain between where my forces are and those points reside. I'm trying to figure out what path my troops should take, where I should put smartys, etc. There are time zooming out barely lets me see the next resource point. There are times I wa
