Creative Labs SB X-Fi wasn't working. Had to install the latest driver with two reboots to get sound back. But running all OK so far, otherwise.

It's why we should already be mining, living, and further exploring outer space. Of course, we still have much unknown about our own deepest oceans, as well.
Nice and brief. Share the link with your friends! [e digicons][/e]
Backed up my SSD, installed a new, larger one. Went ahead and started the Win10 upgrade intending to dual-boot like I do the one I upgraded many weeks ago. Either I missed it or the option to install to another partition is gone. I was disappointed and concerned but the upgrade seems OK. Control Panel doesn't have any unknown devices. GeForce Experience and the GeForce GPU drivers were a mess, though. Downloaded the latest Win10 versions of each and installed. Will

My God, I didn't realize he was T.H.E. Cat! Wish I could see some of those old episodes again! RIP.
Dual boot to try. Don't give up your old OS until you're sure.
I've been running Yahoo email forever (OK, a long damn time). GMail wasn't an option at the time. Just ISP-based email, AOL, and Yahoo. I'm definitely not a fan and don't recommend it to anyone. But I will say that, thankfully, I run an ad-blocker and have had no issues so far. This is wrong-headed enough I think they'll give it up. But I firmly believe that ads on webpages is going to go through some kind of evolution soon.
Seeing this thread and the OP for the first time. I HAVE to say that I simply ADORED Demigod! I was late in buying it and missed it's peak. The player base simply dried up. But it's SUCH a fun game and one of my all-time favorites. I wish someone would create a quality sequel (HINTHINTHINT). I've you've never played it, Steam sells it for $2 now and again (or less) and it's so worth even playing the solo mode! Back to your thre
Once again, when you install a new driver, I recommend you select "Perform a clean installation". Not a big deal if you used DDU first, however!
Clean install meaning a clean install of the driver. The DDU I recommended will remove any traces of any old drivers. If it somehow bothers you to use it, re-install the latest driver for your GPU, use Custom Installation, check only the parts you need (e.g. if you don't use 3d, deselect the 3d drivers), and at the bottom you'll see a checkbox that says "Clean Install". Check it. Then continue the installation. Good luck. I'm not good
Hm. Got the link from a tweet. Sorry it went bad but thanks for fixing it! Indeed a GREAT read. Very happy to be involved early!
I'm sorry that I cannot directly address your question. But, in order to try to help directly with your problem, I would recommend you download and run the DDU ( http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html ), follow it's instructions, and then re-install the latest driver for your GPU (new one came out just yesterday or the day before, BTW), and make sure you check

Panning The Camera Shift is a commonly used key. What if holding shift and moving the mouse to any margin allowed panning? If I'm not holding down the shift key I'm limited to my current camera view as I am today. But if I press the Shift key and hit a screen margin I begin to pan. I'm trying to remember what the control scheme was that I thought worked well for panning and I don't recall. I play so few RTSs (again
Awesome!
Yep, this forum gets little love and the Twitter account gets almost none. Not a fan of Steam forums, but...
Huh? The CRASH is due to the empire tree. You don't need a paging file if you have more than 8 GB of memory. I don't use a paging file. The problem with paging files are the people with 8 GB of system memory who turned theirs off. Ashes needs several GIGS of memory on big maps and if the OS and other stuff is using say 4 gigs then obviously you need a paging file if you only have 8 gigs. But if
The empire tree is the issue requiring a paging file? I hope so. Requiring a paging file when folks are running 12, 16, and 32GB of RAM is wildly counter-intuitive and damningly slow.
The DX12 benchmark should show you how bottlenecked you are by your GPU, barless.
Noctua's thermal paste works very well, also.
Quoting Kazzerigian, reply 2 A random thought: are you using a paging file? If so, turn it off. If not, create one. turning it off would be a bad idea as apparently Ashes needs one to be active to function.
I'd heard som
I can +1 Noctua!
For logistics and upgrades you need to build quantum relays which require some radioactives. Do some scouring of the forum to get more details about numbers, etc. You'll figure it out - or ask direct questions in the forum. Very friendly folks here. I like your concept of the dreadnoughts being more dominant besides just in firepower. Altitude and superior ability to traverse terrain is interesting.
