It's definitely all about the video card. As long as you have 4 cores you're fine. My home box is a Core i7-920 (2009 era) and I put a Radeon 290 in it and it runs great on high resolution at Windows 7.
Dual-boot some Win10/DX12 on that thing for more testing! First, consult Lenovo's website and get the latest BIOS and all drivers for your operating system and install/re-install them (Win10/64?). Then head to AMD's site and install the latest of their drivers for your GPU. nVidia has an option to do a clean install and that's what I'd look for in the AMD installer. Alternatively, you can download and execute the DDU ( http://www.guru3d.com/files-de

I often end up with fewer Quantum Relays than I instructed my Engineer to build. I believe this is because there may have been overlap between a previous shift-clicked build destination for one and the destination of one who's location was shift-clicked later. Thus, once one is constructed a subsequent Quantum Relay's location is invalid and the building is skipped. I hope this makes sense. And I do see it as a large issue that needs to be resolved, hopefully before beta.

The 600 series is well-served technically and dollar-wise by an upgrade to 970 or better. Of course, everyone has their budget and monetary priorities. Otherwise, your platform does just fine. This game's going to be driven by the GPU. That's where you budget needs to be focused. Good luck and join the fun!

Congested wifi spaces are completely an ongoing problem. And public DNS has been a demonstrable response time upgrade over the years for many ISP customers. I'm glad you're not perceiving these potential issues as problems for you.

It's easy to test if you have an ethernet cable and/or can move your PC temporarily closer for testing. I also strongly suggest everyone use a public DNS host instead of your ISP's if you aren't already. http://www.online-tech-tips.com/cool-websites/free-dns-server/
Good stuff. The AIs from 0.70 until 0.90 will be pretty in flux as we're starting to add in them supporting other features including other personalities. Some AI personalities will attack your base directly. Others will try to capture and turtle, others will try to assassinate your infrastructure. 0.71 has the early beginnings of this but we have many months ahead of us. One interesting challenge will be t

nVidia just released a new driver today (12/21) for you nVidia GPU owners. I find it helps reduce the jerkiness in the DX12 benchmark. But, moreso, what I've found gets rid of it altogether (GTX980SC here) is reducing MSAA to 2x and turning on Temporal AA to High (the only setting I've tried). I can't tell the difference but I've not really looked closely either. Just thought I'd pass it along...

If and when a player victory is achieved, the window comes up proclaiming victory and offers Summary or Continue as options. I would like to be able to view the Summary and Continue when I'm finished seeing those statistics. Right now, if I choose to see the Summary, my only option is to be "Done". Thanks!

I've often found myself in the position of wanting to send units near a power generator I already control. However, even within seemingly inches of a power generator the click still selects the power generator. This, I believe, is telling the units to take the generator. But if I already control it, they don't move. The area selectable for a power generator needs to be cut down. This is a very frustrating mechanic for me as I keep clicking further and further away until I actually hav

If I Alt-Tab out of the game (hate full-screen with two monitors, but trying to retain settings for benchmark consistency), when I come back the game looks like this: http://s20.postimg.org/g0jh98ohp/Its_Full_Of_Lines.jpg How can I turn this off once it's on and how is Alt-Tab turning it on to begin with? Thanks!
" This game offers so much more currently than Ashes." amen. and it just pains me that it's not just one domain too... it's all of them I find it damning that a DX9 game beat a DX 12 game graphically. that aside the UI in FA just kills ....massively. it's so good.
Unfortunately at the moment the DX12 CPU benchmark crashes for me when it tries to load the results page. Seems it's a bug effecting a lot of players. But it did play exactly the same benchmark so I am not sure what it is doing. The normal benchmark does also give CPU results. Are they different?
The CPU benchmark crashes the game to desktop for me as well. However, if I immediately restart
