Are you saying to make sure the factory's 100% built before creating a build queue? I usually assign the idle engineer to assist in the building. So that would mean yes. I'll watch it more closely. Thanks!
Thanks, eviator! Nice vid and a good game. There are a few things I clearly need to change and learn. Some questions if I may: At the beginning, you send the initial engineer to a nearby metal extraction site, then select the Nexus and immediately tell it to build 3 more. Are you, perhaps, pressing the 3 key? I always click on the display of the unit I want built however many times. I have no other idea how you told the Nexus to build 3 engineers so quickly otherw
0.64 - I saw mention of this in another post but I don't see a thread on it. Perhaps it exists or there is a known issues list with things like that on it. If so, I would appreciate being directed to it for future reference. I had a number of factories going with specific build queues and at least 2 of them stopped building units. When I clicked on them there was no longer a build queue or check mark. Now, it's possible I'm not doing something right. But I&#
Help a lousy RTS player out. I've moved up to Normal because Easy and Beginner are too, well, easy. But Normal has me destroyed easily. We all know it's about early build order in these games. What have you found works best? Because I think it matters, I've only been playing on Deneb (2 player only, I think?). That seems a tough map for a normally below-average RTS player to defend once they're behind. I know, this is going to chan
If you want more than 4 physical cores in a current CPU, you're going to want Broadwell-E.
That makes me feel a bit better. [e digicons][/e]
That was the problem. I've been on a keyboard for many, many years. Escape is an easy thing for me to find and hit on any keyboard. Pause/Break? Not so much. So, I'll adapt. Thanks!

Hm, perhaps I'm doing it wrong? I use the Escape key. Is there a dedicated Pause key with which it works and it doesn't with the Escape key? I'll look into it - thanks!
It sounds like we manage Ctrl groups similarly. Before I'm about to use an army I'll click-drag the area to pick everyone up, Ctrl-n them again and then hit V (most of the time). I didn't realize using the B might help to un-army them, heh. I'll give that a try! I'll admit to being disappointed that there's not something I've missed. I was hoping there was some benefit I was missing from using both Ctrl groups and armies.
Other games have had this feature. And it's great for lousy players like me. I'd like the ability to click any location on the minimap while in pause and see the map. Scroll-wheel altitude with it would be great, too. Obviously, if that portion of the map's not revealed I'd get darkness. That's to be expected. This way I can pause the game in order to survey the landscape of my battles. Or, of course, when I come back after having to stop for any rea
First, let me qualify all you're about to read as coming from someone who's no good at this style game. I easily get distracting trying to make something work on one part of the map and forget about other things I wanted to remember to deal with elsewhere, etc. ADHD, more or less. I also tend to just forge ahead instead of figuring out all the nuances of build orders, types, upgrade types, costs, etc. I'm more the action RPG type that wants to tank. So, there are my challenges. I
I did an in place upgrade from Win 7 to Win 10. Latest build is very nice improvement.
Nice to hear. Make sure you have your mfr's latest Win10 drivers. I've heard MS can overwrite them with updates on Win10 sometimes...

There is no "opt in" present in my drop-down. I have a singular choice, "opt out". Has this option gone bye-bye or am I missing something? Thanks! *** NEVERMIND *** I have 0.63.etc even though I never selected anything on the BETAS tab. Interesting!
Why would that be illegal?
According to what you said, that Win10 does not replace your old key and the old key is still usable, there is nothing illegal about retaining the original Winx partition and dual-booting to the new Win10 partition. I haven't had anyone clarify that for me before. So thanks!
I know I've done something unintentional and lost control of the camera once. I wonder if this was what I did!
And for anyone looking to dual-boot I just found this: http://www.howtogeek.com/197647/how-to-dual-boot-windows-10-with-windows-7-or-8/ Peronsally, I just downloaded the upgrade and told it to install on an open partition I had previously created. No issues.
One of my PCs was running Win7-64. I purchased a Win8 Upgrade and decided to dual-boot and installed it to do so. I have relatives that are running Win 8.x and, as many here may be familiar, I have to de-facto support their computers, etc. since I'm the one with more experience. Anyway, when the free Win10 upgrade nagging began I decided to upgrade my Win8 partition to Win10. Currently I'm running a dual boot of Win7-64 and Win10-64 on that machine. I honestly don't know if that&#
