Madai831, make certain that you go to the register link from the metaverse page. I'm not seeing a serial number associated with your profile.
CariElf
Newfy, I've never seen the bug where anomalies disappear. You can go ahead and send me the save game.
What version are you currently using?
vonkorping, are you using the 1.02 patch linked to in one of these threads (which is older than the official patch) or did you get it through the downloads section?
Are you using the official 1.02 patch, or the internal one? What kind of video card do you have? What operating system? Is it a laptop or a pc?
The patch is available. Did you try this link? Link If it doesn't work or you fail to get a response today, please e-mail Email and we will send you an alternate link.
To have two metaverse identities for one copy of Gal Civ, do this: 1) Create a new Stardock.net account with a different e-mail address than your current one. 2) Sign in to the galciv site with the new account 3) Register a new player name with the same serial number. 4) When you submit with the new player name, make sure that you submit with the correct e-mail address.
teiqne, can you please do a file search for dart*.dll? There are 3 dlls that Gal Civ won't load without, and if you don't have those on your system it could cause what you're seeing.
Any idea on what is going on with the United Planets Council after reloads though
Um, it should be saving them. If you want to send me your save game I can check in the debugger to see if it actually is. Just make sure that you tell me what I'm supposed to be looking for in the save game. I get a lot of e-mail. :) Arcalian, it should work as long as you have version 1.2. But you might have a few strings missing if you don't use Stardock
Mightygoobi, you should be set now. I changed your records in the database to use MightyGoobi, so you can continue to use that one. Markos2, To set up another account for your son, have him create a stardock.net account with his own e-mail address. Then have him sign into the forums with that Stardock.net account and register your serial number with his player name. Then when he submits, he can submit with his player name and e-mail address and it shou
We're working with intel to try and solve this problem, but so far we've only gotten as far as having Intel assign us a support tech.
1) It randomly selects the turns that an interview will be available 2) A little icon of a camera shows up in a state. Fly your candidate to that state to go on the show. 3) it was for game balance reasons 4) yes
Citizen DoorFrame, I've only seen that problem once and I fixed it by updating the video drivers for that machine. If you have the latest drivers, please run dxdiag and send the report to me at Email along with a description of the problem so that I know it's you.
I think it only searches the poster of the original thread and the titles. It doesn't actually search the replies to threads.
Games sometimes sacrifice realism for fun.
Try hitting C the next time that happens and try again. You may be losing the selection of your character to an operative or activist, and hitting C will auto-select your candidate.
For anyone following this thread, if you use the cheat keys, you will get a score of zero. In future updates we may change it so that you can see what your score would have been if you got it without the cheat keys, but it's not in the 1.02 build that is currently going through QA, so it won't be in 1.02 unless Ubisoft wants us to make changes to that build.
They've assigned us a support tech, so things are moving, if slowly. I hope to have word soon.
These are fixed for the next patch which is currently going through Ubisoft's QA. You can get an earlier test version that still fixes the endorsment crash from the Latest Internal Stardock Update thread.
It sounds like you made a custom candidate with a nonalphanumeric character in the name. Delete that candidate file (NOT corecandidates.candidate) and the next time that you start a game, it should be fine. The next time you make a custom candidate, don't use anything except letters or numbers in the candidate name. Version 1.02 will allow you to make custom candidates with other characters in the name.
filippo1, If you are running Windows XP you must have Service Pack 1 installed; it fixes a bug in DirectX. You will also want to upgrade your DirectX to 9.0c. Also, if you e-mail me I can send you a zip file with the map files saved in a different format. In your e-mail, please include a screenshot of the "weird greyish display" so that I can work on the problem if it's a different one than I think it is. My e-mail is <a href="mail
LOL, Evil Steve, I played that game that you linked to. It's fun! :)

In the wake of Ryan telling me that he only wants to be friends (see Link , Link and Link ), I started filling out profiles at a few matchmaking sites and signed up for a speed dating event
So, I get this IM from one of Stardock's customers on MSN, or more accurately, his fiancee. The fiancee told me to never IM the guy again, or I'd be sorry, calling me two very not nice names, neither of which are accurate. So I told her that it wasn't like that, that he only asks me for help with programming questions occasionally, and I used one of the same terms t
