Too many games today rely on multiplayer as a crutch and skimp on the single player game because of the amount of effort it takes to make multiplayer work well. Here at Stardock, we make it a priority to make the game a fun single player experience with replayability. If we were going to make multiplayer a base part of the game, we would have been stuck with making a clone of GC1 with better graphics and multiplayer. I don't know about you but I can control AI ships as well - give them orders to move , was interesting way to defend my planet - send them away all the time Heh. That was only supposed to be in debug builds. You won't be able to do it in the next build. I made the FindClose

ProudCanadian, when you uninstalled did it ask you if you wanted to uninstall everything, including skins, etc? I think that it leaves files that it doesn't recognize if you say yes to that dialog, but if you said no, I can have the guy who makes the installer/uninstaller to add those file types. Ouch. Yeah, that could corrupt things. For now, try not to upgrade template designs, just build your own. I think that I've upgraded user defined ships, but I'm not sure. It's supposed to rename the upgraded template files so that it doesn't overwrite the file, but obviously something is going wrong.

I'm not sure that what you describe is desireable behavior, but it is behaving as it was coded to behave. Once we get the bug with the quick project wnd fixed, you'll be able to use that to change what ship you are building and change the top project in the build queue by clicking on the fields in the planet list entries that tell what you are building.
