sorry but TAR is the TEC rebels biggest weakness - you dont get the XP and when you encouter another player or AI with leveled capital ships its all over for you
I would not call it a weakness but a tradeoff. Yes you do lose XP, but it allows you to expand and get territory uncontested and allows your allies to get this XP with their capital ships.

I think they should add a warning time of four seconds. Put it in the infopanel where it will say "Wail of the Sacrificed is being used". If you zoom out to see all the planets, maybe the planet with Wail can have a purple glow(ping?) around it. This would give the TEC time to react with Armistice. So far the known counters to wail are. Armistice, Novalith for the TEC. Thats not to unreasonable. And then the other counters are for the Vasari(I only theory Crafted this I have no idea)
Let me reiterate. Disabling superweapons from the game is actually very bad. As it stands they are the only counter to Wail of the Sacrificed. Having a slider that lets you choose from 1-infinite would be very good. Having none would be very bad.
This would be bad as it would be unfair towards someone who was a Rebel Advent.
They dont balance around singleplayer. Also you lose out on experience for capital ships. And its only really viable in the ECO position for multiplayer.

The RED button is far worse than wail when it comes to balance. Take care of Red button than take care of Wail. The Advent need a way to stop the effectiveness of Wail. The Vasari and the TEC both will/do have ways to do this. The red button is hardly ever useful. Bombers are already the most common way to beat starbases, and the red button

Does anyone else feel like this should be a low level upgrade it just seems useless so late into the game :/ Just a feeling I had when I went to update the wiki once again. #sinsplayerproblems
Ummm... If you only play against AI, then by definition, you're essentially a noob. I don't mean to be an ass, I'm just trying to clarify. Maybe a small percentage of the AI-only players would have average skill level for PvP, and that's a big maybe.
This all depends, if he is using the time against AI like I did to learn all the techs and practice macro. He will fit very well
Well i've played rebel Advent from the beginning of Beta 2. You cannot go full military and get wail. If they have wail they were either in the eco position or they had already had the game won to be able to have an army and use wail. Yes it is strong, but like others had said. Dirty had already lost that match.

So I just watched the replay, dat wail. Hey this was the game I tried to join yesterday! Also you were not clever enough to stop me from knowing you were a smurf Quar;)
Buying another copy. Not sure if you can smurf another way, you can change your name and whatnot, but that wont erase your record.
I agree. I've gotten some free wins after doing some testing against AI's(not alot of wins but still). Feels bad man :/

I agree, I cannot stream otherwise :/
Thats actually a really nice idea. Its a mechanical change those are always nice.
It has the potential to be its fairly easily countered by the TEC to be honest. The people that have the most problems against this are the Advent and the Vasari maybe on release. I can see the Vasari using Kostura on their terran worlds(which are almost if ever adjacent to another high population world, as moon and asteroid damage is almost negligible). Offensively this ability is almost impossible to use as it requires a huge set up time to be used optimally. And usually if your fleet gets
I never bothered getting it, I only did it for the wiki haha. Regardless of if we know it was like that since 1.0 when this game gets more advertisement(upon release) newer players may be confused by it. Im just saying change the tooltip to let people know.
