By the number of combos possible, my suggestion looks like that: UB & Rook - 2; Oak - 3; Ere - 4; Occ & QoT - 5; Sed - 6; TB - 7; DA & Reg - 9. So yes, as you can see, it basically follows the same scheme. I've just tried to make it less rigid by introducing some distinctions between 3 pt and 2 pt DGs.
OMGIN1
The most successful combo in preliminary games was Rook+DA (: QoT/Sed, Occ/QoT, Occ/Sed are allowed even if we go the core 3v3 point system adapted for a 2v2 (UB/Rook/Oak/Erb = 3 pts; Occ/QoT/Sed/TB = 2 pts; DA/Reg = 1 pt; the maximum for a team is 4 pts). What would you suggest? What to allow, what to ban?
In the meanwhile, you might want to comment on this tentative allowed/banned combos table: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/415192 . It is based on a point system that's been used for a 2010 3v3 tourney, with more fine tuning.
regarding to me - I don't know, if you can create a tournament with simply and clear rules I may join it regarding to KO - ask him not me, he is over 18, he can speak for hisself Okay, I see. I'll refer you both to the relevant post then, whenever the rules are ready.
Well, Red was hosting a passworded "Merry Xmas" game, or something like that. But again, that doesn't matter much, Polish giant. Tell me, do you and KOgames have any intention of participating in a 2v2 tourney?
the chasing part rarely happens in pro games Myth strongly disagrees (:
Yes, so KOgames and Annon_ (probably a not-that-subtle reference to Unknown Shadow) are Green and Red (: One can surely discern the assholish attitude from miles away, hehe. Welcome back, my ill-mannered Polish friends.
in pretty much every case! I will report you for this reply!
Learn to read. She's slightly stronger 1-5, if the UB doesn't have a monk, though, but that has nothing to do with normal/strong towers.
high towers are always in ub`s favor.. Not in this case. The super-typical scenario for UB vs Sed in a lane is: a UB is chasing a Sed into the towers, Sed turns around and defends under the tower(s). Now, a tower that does 200 dmg per hit is much less impressive than the one that does 400 dmg per hit.
and ye sedna is better on normal towers then ub 2v2 Utter crap. Not only isn't she better, she's also not unkillable. A skilled UB can kill her by timing the interrupt precisely after level 5 (: She's slightly stronger 1-5, if the UB doesn't have a monk, though, but that has nothing to do with normal/strong towers. BTW, strong towers work in Sed's favor, not the other way round.
@Pacov the Objective : 1- reg/sed = this is a post likely making fun of someone. And that someone deserved it 100%: (1) for being a boastful prick obsessed with % (Darkli has 39, he has 66); (2) for being a racist; (3) for accusing us of cheating. Ah, and regarding dontcrymam, players have a curious tendency to get better over one's periods of absence (: I've seen him performing admirably as a Reg, for example.</
Ah, if we are into rooks-feeders-afk, we should mention also stat-whore-hosts, shouldn't we? The funny guy Annon_ kicked me out of his lobby by claiming I'm a noob. This one, where he stacks like crazy and still cannot win against exactly one decent player -- The_M/TheThorns, since both sicky and Nikolus are notoriously bad: http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/game/2046080/player/97554/ . When I tried to ex
Oh, and thank you for the review ( that doesn't mention "cheats" ), LO.
I didnt say he was noob. Im saying the game was very much in ur favor. And we both know you never play hopeless games so why bother even suggesting it. ur one of the biggest "stackers" out there. Well, w hoever says a no-noob UB+Erb vs Reg+Sed is stacked for the latter should see a psychiatrist ASAP. You should have carried your team through with the UB, even if your teammate were horrible (which he weren't), instead of being ridiculous and accusing me of chea
more laughing at the term "great" visca... Let's say you appreciate the irony.
I play with your teammate quite regularly. He's not a noob, and he's not new to this game. So cut the crap. Now you are backpedaling, but if I recall right, you wanted to report me for some mythical bug abuse. I didn't do anything, except getting NR, which I always do. It proc'ed exactly as it should, which should be obvious when you watch the replay. So I have no idea what bug abuse you are talking about.
Actually, not really. The world does not revolve around you, you know (: There were exactly two reasons to post that: (1) the crazy, almost hopeless, matchup; (2) basically, you've forced me to post it by accusing me of cheating. So here you go. And no, it's not average. Average games with that matchup have a predictable result. Besides, you claim I cheat during this match -- and it's always interesting to see, isn't it?
Darkliath (Reg) + IN1 (Sed) vs visca_el_barca (UB) + dontcrymam (Erb). Darkliath's heroics have to be seen (: I'm playing a more Pouncing (after 10) than usual build, since that's clearly what the matchup dictates: http://www.filehosting.org/file/details/301450/in1darklivsviscadontcry.DGReplay Actually, I wish someone competent and neutral (Shane, LO, Pacov; not nnnil
Well, the second possibility is to restrict the combos without assigning fixed weights to personal DGs. That was done during a 2v2 tourney in the past. This option actually allows for more fine tuning, is less rigid, and, therefore, is probably preferable. Take the 3 pt. gods, for example: Erb can combo with Reg, DA, TB, Sed; Oak can combo with Reg, DA, TB; UB and Rook can combo with Reg & DA only, etc. Of course, this should come in the form of a table for easy reference.
1. Just a good skilled 3v3. Myth (Oak)/IN1 (Sed)/sejk (Occ) vs nnnils (UB)/yellow_belly (Oak)/Pureriff (Sed): http://www.filehosting.org/file/details/300877/mythinsejkvsnnnilsyellowpure.DGReplay 2. A long 3v3 that has a quite dramatic turning point. Nnnils plays a hybrid TB in this one (: Note some mighty gadget cit healing I do while defending the portals. nnn
I also happen to consider that a bad idea, but perhaps people think otherwise. Eh... In a way, yes. My BA was in Comparative Literature/Linguistics, indeed.
Use the search function, you can find the full discussion of DG ratings in a relevant thread from 2010. Rook is 3 points on Cata, no doubt about that.
Okay, several points I want to have the vox populi upon, before we start this, 1. The suggested DG picks system is the one that was used for a 2010 3v3 tourney, in a slightly modified form . Which means, essentially: each team can have a total of 4 points with no doubles, according to the following list: UB, Rook, Oak, Erb - 3 pts; Sed, QoT, Occ, TB - 2 pts; DA, Reg - 1 pt. Q : Everyone happy with this for 2v2? I, for one, <span style="
