It's 3.4GHz, not 3.2. I'm referring to the motherboard/processor upgrade that Gateway offers. Not much difference from the BestBuy 3.4 Ghtz and a Gateway 3.2 Ghtz upgrade. I like the case and the blue power lights

AlienGUIse is linked to Theme Manager. I don't think that deleting AlienGUIse did anything to remove the listings from Add and Remove Program. Somehow, it just didn't want to uninstall itself. I don't even think there was a Theme Manger listing in A&R Programs. If there is, give it a try too. I remember that I had to delete the Theme Manager program folder. Then, the listing could be removed from A&R Programs. I then had to reinstall Winstyles because theme manager always breaks it, I also had

If you want to remove theme manager, delete the program folder. There is a unwise.exe in the theme manager folder. You can use that to uninstall it. After that didn't work, I just erased the folder. Then, I went to Add and Remove Programs and clicked the Theme Manager there. Then, it gave me the old familar "an error exists, the associated program was already removed, would you like to Delete it from add and remove too? Of course I clicked yes. Program gone, problem solved. <img src="http://ima

I have SP2 and Rainlendar on my machine with no problems Not all operating systems are set up the same. Certain OEM versions may react differently to SP2. I've heard a lot of people have trouble with Dell versions of WindowsXP and HP versions of WindowsXP. I think these manufacturers need to fix their software, not the operating system. <img src

If the folders don't exist or are empty, then the files are gone. If the files are present but things don't work, then you may have to reinstall the associated programs. Maybe the registry references were broken. It is best to do a clean install, meaning, wipe the hard drive. Then, you won't have these sort of problems. You just need to back up your important files.

All my logons work great, but I haven't installed SP2. Also, some computer manufacturers will modify, replace or remove operating system files, so things may get broken that way too.

Theme Manager seems to break Winstyles. I understand that it was meant to replace it. But, it doesn't seem to work as well as Winstyles to me. I just install the suite that installs theme manager and extract the suite and uninstall theme manager and reinstall winstyles(since theme manager breaks it). It is strange that version 1.5 of Winstyles is the mentioned program of choice in the suites library and not Theme Manager. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/notsure.gif" border=0 A

At the top of each library, it will give you a link to the required program to run the skins. The windowblinds library will point you here. https://www.stardock.com/products/windowblinds/ The program needed is windowblinds. I believe there is a shareware version and a full version. You must purchase the full version in order to be able to download it.

Right click the calendar, &#115elect month, current month should fix it, if not you've got problems because the calendar should change. It has been mentioned that this might be another problem with installing SP2 on a system.

Maybe your versions of Skin Studio and windowblinds are very far apart. It all sounds real strange to me. I've never had these sort of problems. Maybe you can try Adam on Stardock chat. He goes by the name of NoonienSong. He is a Stardock Skin Studio Developer employee. He might be willing to troubleshoot your skin for you if you are nice.

I just noticed that I have less than a gig of hd space left out of 20. 1. Check for spyware. Hotbar had a 3GB file on my hard drive when I used it. If you are using any toolbar, it might keep track of your usage and create a really large file. 2. On WinXP, empty your windows/prefetch folder and windows/temp folder. Reduce the space for
