Currently, our ships hand bare-ass in space, with no real indication of how large they are, their orientation or their relation (in size) to other vessels of the same weight class. It would be a welcome addition if you could include something along the lines of this; <img src="data:image/jpeg;base64,/9j/4AAQSkZJRgABAQAAAQABAAD/2wCEAAkGBwgQBhMRExAVERUWFSEWFhYYGRofGRYWHB0iHCAbExYdKCgsHh4nJxkcLTItLjUrLjQ6IiszOD8sNzQ1MzcBCgoKBQUFDgUFDisZExkrKysrKysrKysrKysrKysrKysrKysrKysrKysrKysr

More details to come.
Theoretically speaking, if you were to tell us details you're not supposed to tell us... what would happen? Theoretically of course.
I'm dumbfounded by how unfun and what little improvement there is in the shipyard as well! Step it up Stardock, this isn't a charity!

My question to star dock why have hardpoints anymore at all they just restrict design freedom and are

Ohai. So the recent patch caused a single annoying, but not game breaking, glitch. Whenever I load a map, with any configuration, the game "Crashes" to desktop (complete with a "Not Responding" warning), but when I click on its icon on the task bar, the screen freezes and then loads the game after about a minute or so. There are no ill effects beyond this. There is no relevant error report file for me to post, so I decided to post this report on the forums and not the
Why invade planets, and then having to deal with their upkeep and defence, if you can simply raze them? Just protect your core worlds and send your main fleet to destroy the planets of your enemies. There is nothing they can do to prevent this, if your ships are stronger. Suddenly, planetary invasion has become entirely pointless.
Because murdering everything and burning their planets to the ground doesn't g

Great interview! I have to disagree strongly with Paul here; I'd really like if specialization locked out other paths. Maybe an optional toggle for this? That's a pretty major feature.
How can you dislike the merciless slaughter of hundreds of billions of people? That's usually the highlight of my day. Seriously though, I believe we should be able to simply "Glass" or otherwise devastate enemy worlds into a state that requires technology and production to reverse, allowing us to skip invasion
I think everyone can get behind this.

So you can customize starbases... interesting...
