I use some widgets and objects, rainy, OD+ and windows taskbar/startmenu. This does pretty much everything I need right now without having to rethink the wheel.... Here's my list from another thread.... I'm going to shoot for the stars, since I don't know a thing about building DX stuff.... Desktop object/widget launchpad that takes up very little real estate and can be toggled between s

1. Some sort of temp-box for favorites...url shortcuts, that can be rolled up when not in use. Right now all my permanent favorites are in folders, all my high frequency favorites are on the links bar and all my temporary or ones that I need to sort through are just on the favorites menu. I'd like to be able to have the menu cleaner and have a widget that intercepts me adding a favorite, unless it is going in a folder and make it configureable to how m

Extract the new skin to a folder in C:\Program Files\Rainlendar\Skins...the default install location for Rainlendar. Make sure the folder isn't embedded in a folder of the same name..ie. should be C:\Program Files\Rainlendar\Skins\New Skin not C:\Program Files\Rainlendar\Skins\New Skin\New Skin. Then start up rainlendar, right-click on it and the new skin should be under the skins menu item. If rainlendar is already running, right-click on it and selec

Kona...Read the MS privacy statement included with the app, basically says they will ask before they use your information. MS wouldn't make a statement like that with all the lawyers hovering around to take a piece out of them. Perhaps some folks have misunderstood the SpyNet AntiSpyware Community reports option, which does send some information, but you can opt out and again they are pretty clear here on wha

Went into the libraries 4-times. Once with SDC, no issues. 3-times through the front door using the gallery tab, second time got the same error as you. Once you get the error page, you can't refresh the page and you have to go back to the main page to get back in. Site bug I guess Keep banging away at it and you'll get in. <im

So far I like it. It's easy to configure, can be set for automatic scans and updates and I like the way it warns you about events as it is monitoring. I won't give up Spybot S&D or Adaware and consider MS's Antispyware another tool in my arsenal to protect my PC. It's too bad I never heard of this program before MS took it over, because I think I would've bought it then. I am curious to see which direction MS

The way I understand it is that the Stardock apps like LogonStudio, Bootskin and WindowBlinds intercept whatever the normal windows processes are that would display the standard XP elements and therefore use the same and in the case of WindowBlinds less resources than if you were to not run these programs at all. I don't use Bootskin or LogonStudio, but for me, WindowBlinds is using 1,140K of memory right now. Opening up Notepad with a blank document u

I have shied away from FX in the past because of resource usage and stuck with IconX when I wanted huge icons on my desktop. I don't know if things have changed or not with FX. Also, I believe that IconX gives you more options when setting desktop icons, since you can set specific settings for all four states of an icon and it's label... normal, mouseover, selected, selected and mouseover. If you are also using DesktopX, I'd probably go with Icon

You know MorghainenCorae, you've basically hijacked this thread. This thread isn't about The nature and origins of our country and the philosophy of those who constructed it , it's about a racist song and folks views of it, free speech and racism. Please start another thread in the proper forum if you want to debate our country's origins.

Just remembered something, won't explain the email though. When the new site first came online you were able to see any skins that were waiting moderation if the person was on your watch list. Wasn't supposed to be like that and T-Man fixed it. Maybe that site bug is back?
