Actually, no you don't. No debug console used, no "3 free constructors upgraded to colony ships" etc. It is a very real exploit that would result in a metaverse legal game (not that anyone really cares about the metaverse as far as I can tell). On the flip side, I can get pretty good results (over 100 colonies by turn 35) without using that explo
The next tech in line? You can only select one at a time. Did you read the part of my post about not being able to queue techs?
Try selecting a tech at the end of a tree when you are endgame and have a few thousand research per turn. You can easily research 2-3 techs a turn then.

in Picture form Suggestions: In general: I really like the singularity power plant design: Big bonus to local planet, decent bonus to empire. Would not mind seeing that in all the wonders. Omega research center: Change to 200% research to local planet, 25% research to Global. 5% research per level to Global. Make it no

I just looked at the xml for tandis too.... its quite amusing Current Global Bonusses 0.25 Morale 5% influence per level 5% tourism per level Local Planet Bonuses 25% influence 25% tourism 1 morale per level (it also gives only 1 adjacency bonus to approval/influence/tourism, wherass virual world, which it replaces, gives 2) Cultural Beacon
I cannot answer for whether or not it's intended behavior, but in ImprovementDefs.XML the Galactic Showcase's bonuses are defined to be a global +25% gross income modifier, a global +25% influence modifier, a global +5% per level gross income modifier, and a local +5% influence per level modifier, so the behavior you see in the game is correct as far as the XML is concerned. Since I would tend to expect it to be more like

all the galactic achievements give bonuses to all planets. But i think they are pretty broken right now or maybe got buggy tooltips. Check some of the screenshots towards the end of this https://forums.galciv3.com/466217 Many of them seem weird.

I wanted a easy way to see which improvements upgrade into which approvements, so i set to work making a flowchart. Found some bugs/errors along the way. Note that i did this on Altarians. 1. Unlock command This gives you the achievements for unlocking all benevolent/pragmatic/malevolent perks. Presumably cheating to get them isn't the intend. 2. Omega Research Center <stron

things i have noticed so far: - If a battle takes a while to load, they start before they are done loading, and you get a huge bunch of instant sped up weapons fire right at the start. - i cannot see my own percentage of votes when a UP vote comes up, add mouse over tooltip to the bar on the right or something. (i know i can see it in diplomacy screen, but that is useless when the vote comes up) - defending fleets do not stay near starbases/shipyar

Steamcharts pulls their numbers directly from the steam API, see this site too http://store.steampowered.com/stats/ You should check out this browser plugin if you want the steam website to be more usefull http://www.enhancedsteam.com/

I thought it might be fun to see what people think it cost to make games these days. Maybe the devs will get a laugh out of it :D Here is my take on it: assumptions: -A game developer in a first world country cost $10,000 per month, all things considered (salary, equipment, training cost, rent for the building, conferences, etc)(based on hearing some game devs talk about this as a ballpark number) -game has been in development for ~2.5 year

Don't forget that most likely there will be people who put their civs on the steam workshop. And then a few weeks/months later you should start seeing "civ packs" that ad maybe dozens or more at once. Few years down the line i imagine there will be packs of fully custom civs with their own portraits and flavor chat options etc. so that way you can have more civs without doing the work.

1) yes, campaign is a prime example. map editor/mod tools etc will also be provided. 2) I don't see why that would be limited, upgrading still costs money and time. I can see not allowing upgrading outside your influence though.
Yes it is pretty sad that we do not get to posses our games anymore. Its like buying a tv set but ya gotta look threw your neighbors window to watch it. Its a crazy world we live in these days.
Just imagine if in 10 years orso steam becomes obsolete or something better comes along. bye games.

Since i wasn't 100% sure, i restarted steam in offline mode and i could launch galciv2 ultimate, galciv3, sins rebellion and legendary heroes just fine. I didn't bother trying with steam closed you can do that yourself if it's important.

They could still use the vault to show some things that were discarded or got cut , would be cool. under the sausage factory motto. and those feedback documents were pretty cool too, don't see any particular reason why they can't do those anymore.

1) I feel in a lot of games it not very obvious how a race feels about you and what you can/cant do. I also often feel it's hard to find out the big picture in diplomacy and i am often unaware of relations between other races. This overall lack of clear information often makes me think diplomacy doesnt have a big effect on the game. I feel i would use diplomacy more if it was more obvious. For example when trading i want to be able to look at the things i am t
