I know how to use the playlist; however, when I have my music playing, it always gets interrupted when I research a new tech, or goto the diplomacy screen, or any other time that music plays - it overrides the playlist entry. I thought this was to be fixed in the 1.03 patch, which is the version I am currently running. Is there any way to have the playlist music override all other songs/music?

I think that we should be able to choose how we can have the computer win. Just like we have the chioce to enable or disable the way we win (e.g., we can choose not to win culturally because we want to research all available technology before the game ends), we should be able to also do the same for the computer players. Maybe this should or shouldn't be done for each compter player individually (so each would have a different style, or leave it up to chance), I don't know, but I think either

I am able to get my playlist music to play; however, whenever an event comes up, like researching a new technology or meeting with other races, etc., that (in-game)music overrides my playlist music. Although I turned off the sound effects, that doesn't help. I don't know how to make my playlist music primary; is there a way to do that? Anyone else have the same problem?

In one game I was playing, I had about seven trade routes going (after researching the proper technologies). Most of them were going to a single planet - one of the minor races. After a while however, I noticed that my income was decreasing. So, I went to the trade route screen (becuase a large part of my money was coming from trade) and noticed that for one of my trade routes under income it said "N/A". So I destroyed this route and reestablished it, after which I was getting

After researching "Alliance," I am still unable to make alliances with other races. I was a good civilization and attempted to ally with other good civilizations. Even after giving them the technology "Alliances" to make sure that they had it, I can't ally with anyone. I was at war with no one and neither were they; we had good relations too and I researched some diplomacy. Questions: (1) How do you make alliances with other civiliations (what condition must be met)? (2) Wi

I live close to several Best Buy stores and they don't have GalCiv. They don't have any information about it. Will Best Buy eventually get GalCiv or do I need to buy it from some other store?

I have previously read on this message board that Galactic Civilizations might not be available at BEST BUY. I have recently went to BEST BUY's web site and they do not have the game listed in their inventory. My question is this: (I)Will BEST BUY be selling Galactic Civilizations? (A)If so, why don't they have it listed? (1)Will they be receiving it at a later date? (a)What is the reason for their delay? (i)When will they be sell

How will the AI - computer players - attempt to achieve victory? Will the computer players always choose to conquer the galaxy through the same military destruction, or will they attempt to dominate culturally, politically, etc.? Also, will the computer players analyze the strategy that you (the player) are using (i.e., military conquest) and try to conquer others in the same way (copying the player's strategy) or in a totally opposite manner (than that used by the player)?<b

I have read that your civilization can become either "good" or "bad" depending on how it reacts (its actions in relation) to certain situations. On some screenshots I have seen three options to chose from (when dealing with planetary dilemmas): one good (results in some kind of a loss), one bad (results in a bonus), and one neutral (no bonus or penalty is displayed). My question is this: Can your civilization stay neutral (as opposed to being either good or bad)? If you can

I am also new to these boards and have visited them after Moo3's apparent disaster that discuraged me from buying it. I am wondering if you can go more in depth and explain "no custom ships" and "no tactical ship battles." Does this mean that although you can't customize your ships, once you have researched technologies a new ship will be presented to build? Also do ship battles exist at all or are they just a report of what happened when two fleets meet? I appreciate any a
