opps, Yea Dearmad i think its realistic, although maybe on intelligent and above this would be an interesting theory, would make us have to stop each turn and check out resources. Although im sure many people would not bother doing this ~SDC~

Yes i was shocked they said Moo3's AI was better..its impossible to lose a game in Moo3 i found. The AI only ever seemed to make Troop tranports, they NEVER attacked me, NEVER invade a planet and destoying their 400 Troop transports was rediculously easy even on the impossible level. Oh yea and then there is that Diplomacy system where the AI's will repeatdly tell you to cease your actions..yet you have no idea what they mean, then the declar war one turn, peace the next etc.

yea resources are VERY important, just one morale resource can be a 70% bonus to every single planet. I grab these as early as i can, and get a few battle ax's on them to defend. And i also prefer to have 3 specialised Starbases, i find once you get to the later stages of the games the Ships are far more powerful than the starbases defense. ~SDC~

build times will dramitcally come down as you technolically progress and make more manufacture upgrades, and build factory Starbases. Usually when i get to the dreadnaught level they take on average 15-25 turns to produce one, which i like as it is a MASSIVE expensive ship, later on though i can pump them out in 8 or 9 turns, and then its the Overlords, or Avatars that take 20 odd turns, then i progress again etc and i can then build those ships in half the time. Be patient i think is t

Sounds realistic, i often send my constructors to resources, and then dont check on them for 15 turns until they arrive, and i find its been taken ;) That said, maybe the AI/CPU overheard of checking all the resouerce points every turn, and recalculating way points etc is too much for the cpu? ~SDC~

Just a small bug, sorry if its been mentioned previously! I cant read all 375 posts :) Anyways, once you military wiped out a race, you get the video, but when you convert their last planet you done..this confused me as i didnt realised i had converted their last planet! Thanks ~SDC~

Just cant seem to get over 600 score lol. I played one game, on pre normal, large map, i ended up winning with 550 pop, i had 1000's of kills, i was FAR more advanced, and so had a great ratio of kills to losses, i was mile ahead in techs, i wiped out all the races and got a military victory. When i won i got a score of 500ish hehe..what gives? this game took 14 hours over a period of days, how are people getting 1000+ scores using the same settings, and winning the same way as me?

From my deductions, the Other party votes represent whats wrong with your CIV. IE if the Federalists have a large say, or win, your econ is probably 3rd rate or your losing money fast. When the populist get a lot of votes your morale needs improving When the war party gets votes, your either losing a war, or a have too weak a military etc etc I could be wrong, but it seems this way in my games ~SDC~

Well technically its not working as advertised solitar :P In fact i think i might prefer this method, i was worried about the AI messing itself up should it download some weird ass strategy, or i had visions of it not understanding and coping with illogical human decisions, and thus not being able to interpret and incorporate them successfully. Lucky i still only win half the time on normal ;) so getting an improved AI is something i can wait for ~SDC~
