I have a feeling that this button is supposed to do either a) toggle between showing your routes and all routes on the map and/or b) toggle between showing your routes/all routes on the table of route info. Hopefully this will get fixed, as the map sure does get crowded with routes late in the game. olaf

One thing I have found that helps, to counter the AIs newly ramped up penchant for tech trading amongst themselves, is to trade more often. I used to wait and trade tech every 3-5 discoveries I made. Now with these changes, its better to do it each time you research a tech you are willing to trade. olaf

Brad, what does the 'show all' button do on the trade screen? It doesnt work, whatever its supposed to do. Also, the game seems a lot harder now on normal and up with this latest build. Not sure completely what it is. Might just be that the AIs are trading tech more amongst themselves, which undercuts a tech heavy player strategy a lot, which is the one I use. olaf

But its not just me right? Other people see this? It could be that they are just trading more among themselves...and thus dont 'need' my tech as much, thus lowering its relative value. But whatever it is, the game is harder now on normal and up. olaf

Downloaded the 4/4 build. Had a save game in progress, went back to it and the AIs will not hardly give anything for my tech now. I mean, next to nothing. This on challenging I think, 5 bright opponents. olaf

Does anyone else notice the AIs trade much less with the player since this update? I had a game saved, I updated, and the AIs are valuing my tech much less than before. olaf

Sometimes it shows the update as 85mb, but then when you start the update, it just grabs the exe. Try that, or try switching to SDC servers to whichever one you arent on, Cali or ATL. olaf

I agree SDC isnt user friendly, and has some problems. But can we also agree that its our only method of getting point release updates earlier than having to wait on full patch releases. I like that, and hope that it continues. olaf

There is a strange formula the game uses to determine cultural victory conditions, and I imagine that has something to do with the problem the people reporting not being able to get a cultural victory are experiencing. It seems that cultural victory conditions are dynamic. An easy way to see this is to check how many months away you are from a cultural victory (you have already got the message telling you, etc.). Yeah all docs do pretty much suck these days. Its sad. Anyway, on a somewhat related topic to this one, I think it would be nice if you could drill down for some of the stats more. Say right click or double clicking on the ledger entries on the economy tab and they show you what is adding up to that entry. Leases for example, clicking that would expand to show you what you were leasing, how much, and when it was expiring. The stats screen could also really benefit from this. It wou

I am all for more listing of stuff like this. I would like there to be drill down options for the economy tab and for the stats tab so that you could see what exactly is counting against your leases, towards your tribute, what makes up your bonus %s, etc. olaf
