Guys, the problem with stern punishments for rage quitting is stuff happens and it's just a game. What if my game just crashed? What if my wireless went out for a second? What if something IRL came up and I had to deal with it? Besides, the reality is that it's looking like the playerbase is small enough that too much banning of each other is going to make matchmaking exceeding difficult.
The problem with AI is not whether they are good or bad, the problem is they give no satisfaction when beaten, like it does beating a human player. single player games do not have the same popularity as multiplayer games have, unless they have massive contents sometimes, like oblivion. The reason multiplayer games are more popular is because it gives more satisfaction beating other humans than beating an AI will EVER do. unless no one else has beat
I think this thing really needs a range limitation. Being able to farm a lane on the opposite side of the map just through this is really ridiculous.
Yeah but.. that's the whole point. That's pretty much all you can do with it besides snipe a fleeing demi for a pretty miniscule sliver of health.

FYI what happens is everyone buys a crapload of armor or something and since you're only level 1 it's incredibly hard to kill anyone.
Transitive, yeah, but if the enemy is using abilities most of the time, than armour doesn't matter so much. For example Regulus with Mines and Angelic Fury. Or Rook with tower spaming.
Towers do not ignore armor, even rook towers. In fact, if you see a tower rook, getting armor is one of the best things you can do. I'm usually erebus so I lean more towards armor [usually ones that buff minons] fo

Maybe they should wait until GPG releases the new patch with improved AI and sees if we still hate the AI so much before they make these kinds of decisions. They shouldn't nix AI just because we don't like the current one... it's so broken, especially if you play a demigod with stun to stop their teleports. If it were semi-competent, then I'd reconsider. I like AI sometimes. For example, sometimes I don't have internet and/or am just in the mood for a SP skirmish.&nb
"Too much bugs" This about sums up the intelligence of this post
Or, more likely, that english just isn't his first language. At least here in America I don't think many people browse and post in forums that aren't English, and if we did I think for the most part our language skills would be even worse.

What are you talking about? I see all the time "noobs only" games being hosted on the custom games list.
I'm talking about not flaming your teammate when you find it he's new, which I see happening too often. The OP seems to say he hosts new

bonus favor points are given to those who excel in each category, such as most kills, most gold earned, least deaths, etc. Usually the players on the winning team net most of these categories, particularly kills and deaths, so since you weren't #1 you didn't get bonuses for them. Most likely your teammates got awards for being #1 in a few categories, like citadel upgrades or reinforcements, so even though you played better than them since you still weren't #1 in the things you did
True, but since you're close to the crystal for both mana and health and have towers you should be able to spam abilities to repel the demigods and force them to take a long trip back to base to recharge. That's what Heart of Life is for.
Heart of Life is several kills worth of gold. The fact that they need one and you don't helps balance things out. Besides, angels pretty much negate the HoL.

I think there is some rubberbanding. Take cataract. If you're losing, they probably have your corner towers down and possibly some in the front of the base. This means enemy grunts push all the way up to your entrance before dying. Since most of the time the front of your base is well-protected, it's hard for the enemy to take this area and they are very vulnerable since they are so far from their own base. The point is, tons of demigods and creeps in a vulnera

In Savage 2, after each game you can give/remove karma from one participant in the match, and leave a comment as to why you did... Effectively discourages quitting, gold hoarding, "cowboy"ing, flaming, etc. while encouraging staying, team playing, and treating people with respect... if you care about karma that is. By looking at a person's karma history and how much +/- karma people gave them as well as reading the comments, you get a good feel for what kind of person th

The wonderful thing about a sedna ai is the regen bonus and the fact that she will heal you and herself. Abilities that directly benefits the player is a huge plus for an ai character.
