When I did this I took all the expansions asap. Then had three separate forces for holding the eastern, southern and western expansions (I took the top one and they left it alone all game), try not to have just one army running around all over the place. I did struggle to hold the East side and that side did buckle at the end and then everything followed after so they got up the hill so it was a darn close thing in the end. That was on an earlier Founders build so dunno if that was easier or
It's not just game lenght or unit count. I just had this happen in a ranked game.
That has happened to me too a number of times though I thought it was fixed. They are two different bugs I think. One at the beginning of the game and you cannot select it at all. The other during a game and you have to click them/draw a box around the units several times to try and select them. There was good a video

When the game starts you have to select the engineer and then click on the node to take it. As soon as the game starts the AI can just send the engineer instantly so it will beat you by a second or so. Big deal frankly, Normal is easy to beat so an extra second or two isn't going to make a difference. The defenders take about a minute to spawn in. You can capture at least one with your first engineer before they start to appear, that is what the AI is doing. Playing the game a bit

3v3 is the biggest they will support at launch. According to their development road map they will be supporting huge maps with up to 12 players sometime during the third quarter of this year. I don't know if they will increase the number incrementally over the months or go straight from 6 to 12. You can see the road map here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/228880/discussions/1/490123938434377747/

No problem. Just to clarify when I say Army I don't mean a Ctrl group. When you have units selected hit "V" to form an army and "B" to disperse one. There are two green buttons on the UI to do this also. Some of the Dreadnought upgrades effect/improve the Army they are part of. Probably worth playing the tutorial if you haven't, I assume it will cover armies. As you play you'll kind of learn how an Army behaves, sometimes they are very useful and other times you'll do
My only complaint thus far is a minor one. I find that, when I move large groups of units, my medics always want to move out in front of everyone and, thus, get killed unless I micro them. I also noticed that medics can't heal each other, which doesn't make much sense to me.
If you put your units into an "Army" then they will all travel at the same speed. Medics not being able to heal each other is a new update as when you had two medics heal

On a Steam post a Dev seemed to say the 3rd faction could be more different than the current two as the current two come from the same tech tree being both from Earth, while the 3rd won't have those restrictions. That strongly suggests it will be an alien force and not a sub-faction. I am also very curious about them. I personally hope it is still a high-tech race and not a Zerg type bio-race. I'd prefer something along the lines of the Cybran, with lots of sharp angles on the

Eviator makes a lot of good points. The map generator is going to be great in many ways but one problem is that hills/mountains etc. do all look the same thus creating the problems he mentions. And the disconnect between zoom level and map size will only get larger as the maps get bigger. As I said in my own post I can live without full zoom but more zoom would be better. As an aside, is there some new lighting in that version? Looks good.

You are brave to raise this issue again! :) I notice you put in the description the current zoom is 15,000 feet. Earlier in the Alphas, may be in Beta 1 too (I forget) it was greater than that, maybe 25,000 (forget exactly). I thought that was a decent compromise. I think the 15,000 came in when you decided the units should be identifiable from max range (while at the same time making the units smaller). I did see some complaints on Steam in the Alpha from people saying the units were

Didn't see the video before. Ouch, that is quite bad. Some dual card Nvidia users were describing their benchmarks like yours but when they actually played the game the experience was fine, that's why I asked my original question. If it effects you in both benchmark and in-game it is likely different bug or a different manifestation of the same bug. Apart from double checking the driver is the latest and checking the game cache integrity in Steam I am not sure what you can do. Hopeful
Well, maybe you´r right. I really cant say if is working better on Dx 12 than Dx 11 because on Dx12 gameplay the 2 video cards work at 100% and on the benchmark just 50%. But, Fraps Riva Tunner and others programs dont work whit Dx 12 for now. I am just me or there is no support on Dx12 for Fraps and Riva Tunner? Grettings! And thank you for the answer [e digicons]:)[/e]
<
The latest build of Ashes is v0.94.18443. This version has been submitted to GOG and will be posted once they have approved it.
Not that reassuring when version .90 is many weeks old. Is GOG just that bad or are there ways for people to force patch a game?
