Much less cheesy then you think. You said that you wan Tech victory in 1.03 in 3 hours. It takes almost the same time to build good ship catapult. And it's definately less cheesy than Influence resources - it's too micro- and time-expensive to be really cheesy. Also, it don't allows you to win in unfavorable conditions - don't forget that you must build all these constructors before you'll get a bonus. And if you get it, you still can't effectively use it because of the difficulty of st

I already suggested somethere that TheQuack mentioned here, but i thought about 7 sliders instead of 4 - so you can set exact spendings for all 4 kinds of planets. ~SDC~
Other Apolyton empire members, post here your Apolyton accounts too. ~SDC~
Yep. 'Ship Catapult' is Veteran Za H invention. By the way, where is he? ~SDC~
And the awesome britany spears and one-to-one popups on your site sure make me wanna keep coming back.
But site needs to live somehow. I think your site don't have 33015 registered members? ~SDC~

Ok. As i already said, if fairplay is over, so be it! Better join Apolyton empire because you'll get my Tiny Masochistic Walkthrough and you'll be in top 25 on Metaverse in ~10 hours if you want to. Also, you'll be part of great strategy gamers community, and this is a good thing IMHO (at least i'm happy with that). You can see at our site http://apolyton.net/, our GalCiv-General http://apolyton.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=174, GalCiv-Strategy http://apolyton.net/fo
This is because most posting questions on this forum. I'm somewhat tired to responce to the same questions again and again. ~SDC~
Mmm? Assign equal score to every player. Every player has a personal empire and can't leave it to join another empire. ~SDC~
Interested conversation. Needn't i tell that you are talking about people, not about scores? -- To plephart
I would imagine that only half of Apolyton's members are even active.
In our empire only 20 players send scores in last 2 weeks. By the way, spamming everythere with your request to join your empire isn't a good thing also. ~SDC~
To Twirlip It seems that traderoute age measured in months, not in trips (and it's logical - or shorter trade rotues will recieve too high modifier compared to longer ones). But you'll get more (several times difference) if freighter at the end of a trip - so a freighter on a turn 138 of 140 traderoute length gives several times more than same freighter on a turn 2 of 140 (this numbers are on the Domestic Policy->Trade ). Also, this value because the mini-freighters were always in the s
Er, so its a mod?
What mod??? No mods of course. It's standart 1.03 Gigantcic/Abudant/5 Incredible AI game. I started it in 4 May 2003. Trade Catauplt (tm)+War Catapult(tm) - near enemy, 240 speed range - covers almost all galaxy in both ways (so i can fly, attack and return). Goal was to win Military w/o culture flipping/tech trade and relatively fast. ~SDC~
There is a strategy forum - just use StarDock Central. Or you may look at Apolyton GalCiv-Strategy&Tips forum http://apolyton.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=188 ~SDC~ [Message Edited]
Minor civ i'm trading with has A LOT of money. :) ~SDC~
No, it's just a Trade Catapult(tm). 140 +50% trade starbases and ~+120 speed - so freighters staying in one place (really they are moving all trade route in one turn). Don't know why, but trade route length in Trade screen is 140 (but a speed bonus is 120). Freighters staying in 138/140 position - so virtually they'are always at the end of the route - better income. 680 constructors, 136.000 production points (+waste), 700 bc/turn maintenance. A real WONDER, not like any in-gam
Or it's a record for now? ~SDC~
LOL Same as Masochistic ~SDC~
See at my icon - i already eat one. ~SDC~
To Coffedragon
Apolyton is the I-League of the Metaverse. Lots of members, but few that are particularly strong. In short, their power is ephemeral.
But I-League easily eats evil guys. Like G.R.O.S.S. ~SDC~
By the way, let's go to a chat room. ~SDC~
To RayChua But it will be perhaps the only military win w/o culture on Gigantic Masochistic! ~SDC~
Anyway, we didn't say that we don't care about score, it just isn't going to be our top priority, which I believe you also said isn't GROSS's. I would have a good laugh at anyone in the Top 25 or 50 who claims to be not concerned about score.
Bear in mind all time spent to econ testing, forums and my current game (started 04 May 2003) with lovely trade catapult bringing 80040 bc/turn, no planets flipping because of influence, no tech/tradegood trade and a goal - relative
By the way, count me in on strategy projects. To PontiusBruinPilot
Ha!!! I always knew you were in league with Sauron the Deceiver Ray. Look at that evil tag the all powerful dev spell has revealed!!!!!!
But now everyone knows that Staffa is good. LOL ~SDC~
Just saw a respawn. Nearest race - Dreign. Ouch. I should press Ctrl-N. ~SDC~
By the way, you can give your declaration of war to any civ, not just at war with target civ. Perhaps Za H posted this trick first, but i'm not sure. ~SDC~
