Too many members for a Kingdom and I'm thinking that the Aldarian Empire better reflects the plans for ultimate Galactic domination. If you are reading this and are not part of our Empire, time to join before it is too late :)

Space Napolean - I hear you about time - the house is eating up all my free time. I think crippling is the most fun level for my playing strategy (which can be be summed up as "Hmmmm, I wonder if this will work...") Mistakes at Maso can't be recovered from. Seems to me that being a fan of the New York Wallets (oh, I mean Yankees) is kind of like cheering for Bill Gates to make money.

I don't think so. I never build more than a couple star bases in a given sector and I've been using the 1IP bug for most of the games just to speed things up. I just played the last Maso game with settings such that I couldn't take advantage of the 1IP bug - still was able to win but got pretty bored building starbases and almost quit... To be honest, I'm hoping that the new release scoring doesn't make it a requirement to play Maso to be competitive in the Metaverse. I kind of like

Something in your game is triggering the anomalous flag. I've seen other threads with similar topics where Support has asked for the person to send them the saved game and then they will be able to tell you why it was anomalous. There are some exploits that are available in normal game play that will lead to the dreaded 'anomalous' difficulty and a score of zero. Might want to start a new thread 'Not sure why my game was scored anomalous' to get their attention (or try going to the ch

Another thing that seems to help is to expand your cultural influence towards them in a non-threating way. By this I mean build starbases in their uncolonized border sectors and add cultural modules. Later in the game, you can also colonize PQ 13 and 14 planets in their 'sectors of influence'. I usually send a fleet of 7 constructors to the same sector before colonizing the planet. Colonize the planet and then immediately build a starbase with a palace and maximization in the same

Last Kid Picked is actually the name of a local band. I asked them if I could borrow the name/logo for my sailboat boat - they are very entertained by the whole thing. That is where the little angry stick figure logo came from. http://www.lastkidpicked.com
