The million dollar question - Why was Code Monkey's scores recalculated?
T-Man in the metaverse submission problems thread: 'I am going to zero out the updated flags for all 1.044000 games so if you want you can update them with 1.05 and get a more accurate score. Now i'm tempted to find out if i still have a saved game from my only 1.044 win (Score, leader of the points :))

My vote is for the Staffa/Ralegh system. Guess that makes me hardcore. How about making a seperate hardcore metaverse with rules as proposed. I still have no idea what the silent majority of players would like to see (if anything). I like alexti's proposal of displaying the month/year of victory on the metaverse. On starting positions: I used to be a supporter of weighing starting position into the score. Not anymore. Mostly because i fear it won't be implement

Move one of your autopiloted ships manually. That will trigger the autopilots to run. Clumsy method, but i got used to it more or less. I think the find ship button should make your autopilots move.

Just came home from a medium trip on my Harley Spacidson. At the motel halfway Skowbo i met this Torian girl. She was addicted to anomalies and talked with a soft voice about the worms on Iversonia ("They can smell your thoughts") and her paranoid Alexian friend (who made it into the metaverse top 25, "But i still love him"). After we mapped each other's brain waves (she was Incredible) and became very close she asked if i wanted to join the Purple Quouncil (The PQ offers advice to terrorstars

Ummm..... (Edit to add some substance) Nice read :). Possible reason: It was mentioned some time ago that diplomatic relations cool if you have warships in the sectors of the AI (never would have figured that out myself). I never paid too much attention but it may be possible that a roaming surveyship caused negative effects. I quite like the unpredictability of the AI :). [Message Edited]

Thanks, no, it's not a bug, it's a feature :). I thought it might be removed, but i'm glad to hear it isn't. At least some chance to catch up. I just played my 4th 1.04 game, dropped from incredible to intelligent, but i just gave up halfway each game. I'm too far behind technologically and i see no way to catch up with the AI not even giving 1D phasing for aphrodisiac, although i might still win military. Maybe i'm stuck in my old playstyle, maybe i'm just a bit tired with the game

Well Frogboy, i just handed the Drengin (they had very little planets, were neutral to me) Battleship tech on a crippling 1.04 game to see what i could get from them. I wanted at least Large Scale Building to get on researching Dreadnaught tech. They wouldn't even trade LSB + Sensors for Battleship tech. (I still traded Battle for LSB though :), so i suppose they were right to refuse me anything else). But it feels a bit lonesome, me against an AI universe, whereas before the patch there was a

Well done getting Aphro on masochistic in 1.04. I just tried some masochistic games. First one: Arceans develop Aphrodisiac in april 2179. Second one: Also Arceans, january 2179. Pretty hard to beat :) . I'm stepping down to crippling again (especially since i seem to be unable to play without +2 speed anymore, which i think is a shame).

I don't care about others abusing or scoremilking. Like Coffeedragon i just want the scores to reflect the effort a bit more. I don't think i've seen Frogboy mentioning this issue. And i'd like to know if it's an issue at all. Some questions for Frogboy: - Why do techwins score most points? - Is it intentional that a gigantic simple win scores more points than a small masochistic?
