I like Moo3 a lot, although I've not played it for a while since I'm waiting for the code patch. I've talked to a few of the betas who already have the patch and it sounds like a whole new game.

""There are no Terran avatars outside our homeworld. Well, maybe one or two, but they took one look at our defenses and spontaneously exploded"" :D But this is even worse than comical Ali, it's like he was giving one of his reports while standing in frot of that APC pulling down the Saddam statue.

Having just spend ages more than I had to on a game just for I could see the alliance win screen I was rather upset to find that while the alliance movie is played it gives me the culture win text on the overview screen. I won't have 1.03 untill it come sout as a patch on monday but I'm keeping my save from the last turn of this game in the hopes 1.03 fixes this bug. Does it?

The Drengin normally start out well in my games then go to war with me for a while which lets the Alterians and the torians streak ahead. The yor and the aceans are normally getting beaten up by the time I've delt with the drengins to I can either help them or steal their planets while they are weak. In my last game though the alterians took over the drengins starting planet before they could build a single ship, with no red menace to hinder me I was able to get a good lead in all areas and keep

During a recent war which I was handily winning I got a GNN report saying: Twilight of humanity...alliance against us...if you take the total economic and military ratings of the forces fighing us it would come to 198 while our rating would be just 214, clearly this is chilling news. Uh... oh no! I'm doomed! :d To be fair, their total military rating was above mine, but my economy was twice the size of the alliance against me. I think maybe the game just looks at the military rating

Hmm, they've been getting 43% of their income from me for a while now but they still aren't close. I'm not worried about the good races though, I'm at war with both of them and they are being crushed :)

The way the alliance victory is mentioned in the game it sounds as if all you need to do is ally with all the majors your are not at war with. In my current game I have done that and when I bring up the menu it says "Alliance victory 100%" but the game is still going on...Do you in fact have to kill all the races you are not allied with to win? On a related note, do you have to be the same morality as a race to ally with them? My current civ is evil and the damned Acredians (sp? the yellows)

"I was hoping for moo2.5 but got something WAY differnt." Why were you expecting that? The whole time Moo3 was in development it was advertised as Moo3 NOT Moo2.

in #7 'is' should be 'isn't'. I think they got their "die humans" fram an event where their leader is killed while visiting your planet. They declare war and someone provides them with free ships, all named "Die humans". Or maybe they just love you but use German when naming your their ships :)

" Have we been affected too much by Star Trek? " Is star trek the united federation of planets? My Federation takes its name from David Webers books :)

Freighters etc wouldn't be albe to ram planets if the planetary defence buildings gave the planet an attack rating. You'd need to add a similar building right at the start of the tech tree to prevent rushing though. Anyway, a small ship's engine blowing up wouldn't be able to destroy a planet.

Putting it in the doubleclick menu would be ok, but you'd still have to click on each ship to do it. It'd be better if each planet had a box saying "Send ships to nav point" then a little menu with "None/alpha/beta/etc"
