Wow! I never knew I had any fans ! Well I suppose you're the first and seemingly only member of the EBZ fan club (yea right, doesn't that sound too egotistical? lol). This makes me .... feel ...... errrr............'good' :VOMIT: Well it'll be a while before I will get to, since I need to format my comp, move, and the latest I could be getting it back is sometime early next year. However, if there's anything I can do to get to check the GalCiv fourm I will do. EBZ has j

Arrrrgh? What happened to GROSS??? This greatly dispeases EBZ >:(. Must... destroy... all... Uh-oh... is this it? Is this what GROSS has waited so long for? Could this be the possible ressurection of EBZ? Well tune in GROSSers cause in about a month (when I get all my stuff moved) we just might see that happen (and this time, more cranking to ensue, heh...;)). ~SDC~
[Edit: well crap, what's the code for the puke emoticon?]
It's : VOMIT : (without the spaces between the ':') :VOMIT:
I saw a few threads spread out asking me a few questions, and I usually lack the motivation to go through every one and answer them (maybe I should have the "I'm a busy man" attitude, lol). To clear things up, no, I won't be playing GalCiv anytime soon, I just simply have no plans to. Perhaps it's pride after the fall of the GCCG. I guess I had to be the martyr(sp?) there. However, someone had pointed out to me in IRC chat that I somehow created some 'legacy' and people seem to be de
EBZ - good to see you back. If you get a game in, you should get a promotion or two! It's about time you were welcomed to the admiralty - if anyone deserves it, you do!
Thanks, but unfortunatley Brad seems to think differently.
I'll be next: EBZeroMatrix Missouri, USA :VOMIT: [Message Edited]
Arrrrrgh! EBZ here, with news about what's going on in my twisted realm of death and pain... Still no plans on playing GalCiv...however, I did find somewhere's on SD that there was some really old version of GalCiv & GalCiv 2 released (seemed liek for OS/2), interesting though, I'd play it (anyone know where to get it?) Currently, I've been engaged to MOO3, which I may say is one of the longest games I have ever played (except FF games)...currently on turn 786, it takes about a
PS Hi EBZ if you check this thread anymore.
Hello ricbayer...yep, I sure do on occasion ;)
ARRRRRGH!!! *EBZ 'The Forgotten One' dashes back off into the darkness... [Message Edited]
Hmmm....people still talk about the GCCG and me, :D . Well I haven't forgotten you all, just to let you all know, I've been...errr....well, you know doing EBZ things...heh. Anyways, I still update my site every now and then, so check in if you guys ever feel compelled to (or if you're really bored :P). Well I need to stay low for now... *EBZ dashes back off into the darkness...
Well as it would seem GROSS'ers, obviously no matter how much I talk about the GCCG and anomalous scores, the dev's still don't seem to read my posts, or at least not carefully. I also don't plan to play at maso/gig so the devs wont think I'm exploiting the system. I suppose I could find some other way to exploit it, but I'm sick of all this BS. It's obvious the dvs don't lie me, and I wouldn't be suprised if they even hate me because of all this crap. Therefore, I am
But being at EBZero's beck and call to remove anomolous scores from his personal metaverse account is pushing it. That is the specific issue we're dealing with here.
Ahem, it's EBZ. Well I wouldn't have asked so many times, if you guys had provided a solution EARLIER.
Some people have unreasonable expectations of support. Heck, I'm happy when a tech support person emails me back. Yet you have people here ticked off that we're not willing to continually edi
Anomolous scores have to be removed by hand. I don't mean to offend anyone but at the end of the day, I am the CEO of a multi-million dollar corporation. I'm a pretty busy guy. Cari is pretty busy as well.
Multi-million dollar corporation?! :SURPRISED: And you guys say you don't have the money for the meta?
So as you can imagine, people who keep getting anomolous scores after being told what causes them don't get a lot of sympathy. The first few times
None of the gigantic game subssions I've seen have finsihed up in a single day
Check again Frogboy, I have submitted a few in my early days of playing, where I submitted a gigantic in 6 hours.
I'm not surprised by the latest Metaverse scandal--it's been clear for a long long time that Stardock wants us to play the game in the way that they think is most fun, rather than the way we think is most fun.
Hmmmm, that was EXACTLY what I was thinking too. Just didn't wanna say it because it might cause more tension between me and them.
Having a high treasury by the end of the game triggers the anomalous score. The only rememdy I have found is to dump all the money (I usually distribute it) amongst the other civs (or the civ) right before the last few turns or so.
EB
Ahem, EBZ.
Even after finding out that your strategy was triggering the anomalous scores, you continued to submit games using this strategy before using the modifications that I suggested (which worked), and so you asked people multiple times to delete anomalous scores.
After you had asked me to do so, I was on my burned-out mode. I didn't play GalCiv for a while. Once I got back, I did implement what you had advised. Yes, it did wor
Also people can visit my site to check out the chat log on this if they want to... http://ebzeromatrix.tripod.com/warning.html I'll post up more info. on it later...
>:( Apparently according to Brad, the GCCG is all a 'cheese' tactic! Today I found out that my anomalous score won't be deleted because of my so-called 'cheese' tactics...in fact Brad specifically mentioned my name to NOT delete my anomalous score(s). Yeah, you can say I'm al little pissed off about that. Stardock has also been getting a lot of e-mails on anomalous scores, and beware, because you may be the next victim of refusal. I have also been ad
Hmmm, somehow I feel offended...
Being redundant... I still get invisible ships :notsure:
Hmmmm... I think some ppl are right here, and some that are wrong, but here are my theroies... #1 -Shared Serial Number- You could distribute as many copies of GalCiv on as many comps as you had, but all would have to use the same serial #. All of the scores (as long as submitted name/e-mail stays same) would pour into one account. #2 -Invalid- I highly doubt that you could use the same copy of GalCiv on multipule computers, using same serial#, BUT un
That was actually pretty good Cotal! Bravo! ;)

I wish ANZAC would just give it up. They're not gonna make first, or even get close to passing up GROSS.
