Okay, I know most of you wont like this so dont slam me... but i dont like the ship builder option. Maybe I will once I know the Tech Tree better but right now its just frustrating. Are there any RECIPES out there on what techs I need to build say, a frigate or battle cruiser, etc..? Its hard to know what to research to get the good ships. Thanks
Thanks everyone for your input, I appreciate it
For us, less savy computer people... could someone explain how to print the tech tree or point me in the right direction. I can't find a link for it. (and yes, i attempted to look it up in the directory). Also, I am still on my first game and i hate the grey soup... I understand why its there but even after i send ships to explore it comes back... Is there something I need to research? (Its really ugly! , black would have been better IMO) Thanks again

Love the game so far (and big fan of GalCiv1)... still on my first game so i apologize if this is yet to be discovered but: I REALLY hate the gray fog. I dont mind it initially but after i send ships in an area it comes back. Is there a way I can change that? Or is there something i can research? All that gray is depressing! (I'd rather have black) THANKS
When looking into state details (under the presidential hopefuls) i see a -5 with thumbs down and a + 7 with thumbs up.... can someone please explain the numbers. THANKS
Three questions: Wesley Clark is the candidate most Republicans run against.... are there other democrats we can choose from to run against? Also, what does the "reset" button (which appears in his info) do? On the second screen (Democratic Campaign) there are a number of anonymous men which highlight as the cursor moves over them. What exactly does this page do and why do they highlight? If i click them nothing happens.<br
I dont know how others would feel about this but i would prefer the news tickers to be atthe bottom of the screen, above the state data etc... I guess it is my training from Sim City I also think it is easier to look at one spot. I know others have said this but i mis interaction with an opponet. Responding to my negative ads etc.
To add to the bug regarding little/few interviews..... I have not had any debates yet...... having fun though
I could careless how many people "like" the US. Sometimes doing the "right" thing means going alone. It boils down to the question: Is our response to terrorism a military or legal response? France sides with legal, Bush with Military. Go Bush!
