I'm impressed. I think scattered/abundant stars would be harder--your thoughts? Of course it would take forever. Maybe try scattered/abundant/huge? Cannot initiate diplomacy with minor races would add a lot of difficulty too. Or no trade with minor races.

In times of war, the Administrative fleet becomes one of the Euros' deadliest. The Euro's paperwork is so massive that, under the proper conditions, it can be used to generate a black hole! The gravitational forces generated by the paperwork can rip apart enemy fleets or even devour hostile planets. Enemies of Europe beware!

Are you thinking of Clausewitz's line, "war is a continuation of diplomacy by other means?" The original quote is in German so you'll see people cite lots of variants of that phrase. Though of course you may be thinking of something else entirely.

I modded a political party to get +100% luck, just to see what would happen. This was on maso. I didn't build any ships, but a few years in got a whole slew of rangers when the other races just had battleships. These dried up when all the rangers brought my military rating up to the point it was comparable to the other races'. I also had an unusually high number of morality events but that may have been coincidence. I didn't notice anything exceptional about anomalies
Anyway to carry on with the original and rather more benign theme of PQs. I had a 61 PQ in my last game . . . I find it hard to imagine what a planet more beutiful than Earth at it's best would be like?
Well, PQ isn't really about "beauty" so much as it is a measure of what your civilization can get out of a planet. So some ideas for improving PQ, not by making the planet "more beautiful" but perhaps making it "better" in game terms. Maybe more surface area as la

When talking about science, looking at the word "controversial" or "incomplete understand

Nope, I don't. I'm not doubting you, but that makes no sense to me... why would any animal do that? If something is vomited up it's presumably because there was something in the stomach that was really bad for the animal. Bringing it back into the stomach seems like the last thing you'd want to do. How often does your dog vomit? [Message Edited]

By the way, did anyone ever get around to reading those articles from Scientific American that Maxti and I were disputing? You don't have to say whether you agree with me or Maxti, I just want to know if they're being read or not. This tells me whether or not I'm wasting my effort in writing such posts. Even if you're totally uninterested in this debate, I'd encourage anyone who likes science to read Scientific American, which really is a very good magazine. The "ask the expert
