I am not talking about terror stars, I am talking about constructors. A constructor in alien owned sector show be considered the same as a warship, or better yet as a sneak attack in the making. That would solve both the alpha strike terror star problem and the cultural bombing problem.
It wouldn't stop people from parking constructors in adjacent sectors, then moving them in when the time is right (just like people can do with warships.) Also, that would make it
The Kwilasians routinely morph to the I-League
I think the I-league always appears from the Kwilasians on Gigantic maps.
This would only delay the inevitable. Making the AI react to constructors in their sectors would spice things up and be a better fix
Only as long as terror star construction was slowed down, too. One terror star module at a time, so that the AI has time to react.

Hi folks, First, a big welcome to the new people in the empire! To everyone, new and old: I'd appreciate it if you could send me an email. [email protected] This is just so that I, or the rest of the "Fellowship Council," can get in touch with you later on empire-related issues if that turns out to be needed. Don't worry, we expect it to be a very low-traffic list! Of course, those people who I already know how to reach don't have to email me. U

Middle of a game, things were going well. Set espionage to full on all races in order to avoid pesky wars. But, I forgot to turn it off after reaching "advanced". Only after five years of spending 2500 BC/turn on espionage do I figure out why my economy is in the tank.

Okay, if scorched earth is a strategy it's definitely bugged in that only the innermost inhabited planet in any star system is ever scorched. It's been like this for as long as I can remember. If I may make a comment, this is a remarkably passive response to cultural pressure. Why did you choose to have the AI respond this way, as opposed to, say, declaring war and blowing up every culture starbase they could find?
When conquering a planet . . . no planetary improvements
Cari, *is* this an AI strategy? I remember someone from Stardock (don't remember who) said a while back that they weren't sure if it was a bug or a strategy and that they would ask around. Sirian reported a game where the Altarians systematically destroyed improvements, one by one, for no reason he could see (no cultural pressure or anything). Planets with no improvements had low morale and flipped to the I

Carielf has said that the flag is triggered if the treasury hits a certain level by a certain year. After that year, you can go nuts with the treasury and the game won't flag it, as far as I can tell. To test this, I've gotten several tens of millions of BCs in the late game by exploiting the Draginol, and still gotten a successful submit.
The Fellowhip has remained at the top for so long precisely because we don't care too much about 'winning'.
Yup, well said. vincible has spent the last few weeks ensconced in his tower, deep in study and contemplation. He seeks an understanding of the basic forces which run our universe. For soon, he will face a great test, and he must be ready. On the other hand, vincible is getting pretty fed up with his studious lifestyle and wants to go kick some Dre
